Explore the pristine creeks winding through marsh prairies and travel the Intracoastal Waterways and backwater bays around Amelia Island. Jump on one of George's Jet Ski Adventures' Yamaha Waverunners and take a cruise on a 1 or 2-hour guided jet ski tour. Look out for an array of Florida's wildlife as you speed your way through our local waters. Breathe in the excitement as you race from the rivers and creeks to the Atlantic and back again. You are likely to see porpoises, manatees, the wild horses of Cumberland, turtles and the many wild birds that frequent the area. We like to call our trips "eco tours at the speed of fun" We view Jet Ski tours a little differently than the rental shops. The Jet Ski isn't just for going fast and getting the rush. On our Guided Jet Ski Tours, your guide, will point out and identify the wildlife you encounter and will tell great stories about the area. You will pause several times along the way to see some of the historic highlights along the water and to see wildlife. On the two hour tour, we make a stop to visit one of the many beautiful white sand beaches on the islands in the Amelia and Cumberland Island waterways. Each of our tours begin with safety instructions from your friendly, expert guide, who will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to help you get the most out of your island jet ski experience.

Backwater Cat Adventure

Book a tour at Backwater Cat Adventure dot com. This is a boating adventure you will cherish for years to come! Driving your own 2 seat catamaran boat, while a guide in a lead boat shows you the waters around Amelia and Cumberland Islands, on a 2.5 hour trip. Our goal is to see wildlife, like the wild horses on Cumberland Island, sea life like dolphin, manatee, sea turtles and more. We travel by historic Fort Clinch on the tip of Amelia Island to take pictures and talk about the history or this 1800's fort. We stop on the beach at Cumberland Island to swim, do some shelling and it is a great break off of the boats. We do some very cool boating in the backwater, never going into ocean waters. In colder weather we provide waterproof pants and jackets to keep you comfortable. This is great for families with children 5 years old and up, adventurous first time boaters, and people who love the water, wildlife, sea life, history and driving a really cool boat!
