FENTON'S RINK is England's only dedicated curling ice rink. It is open from October to April, from 10am to 10pm every day. It is very popular for all kinds of occasions, from birthday parties, anniversaries, staff outings, client entertaining, stag and hen parties, school trips and many more. Most people are new to this exciting and fun sport - so we always provide an instructor to show you the ropes. You'll have fun - right from the start! It's important to book in advance - particularly round the busy Christmas period.Do come and see us - you are sure to have a great time!!
This is possibly one of the best activities you can do as a group! I think Fentons is one of the only curling rinks in England- it is definitely worth a visit and curling is so much fun- definitely best as a group and for team building. It is in the middle of no where so be prepared for country roads!

I had a great time during my taster session because I felt safe in the equiment and my instructor Ben gave me encouragement and the confidence to push myself a little bit further. At the end of the session I was very pleased with what I had achieved with Bens coaching. I would definitely recommend the taster session to my friends. Thanks Big Rock.

At Skizone our revolving, fully adjustable ski slopes replicate a real piste. The slope surface is an astro-turf carpet which offers the most economical way to learn and is suitable for all ages and abilities. With a fully qualified instructor by your side throughout the lesson and a mirror at the bottom of the slope feedback is instant and gives you the best opportunity to perfect your technique.
compared to both dry slope and indoor snow slopes, Skizone is the best way to hone your skills. i've learnt to both ski and snowboard there. the 3 main advantages that it has are 1) unlike dry/snow slopes where you have to waste time going up and down on the drag lift, at Skizone you get every second of practice time. so half an hour on their equates to many hours on a dry slope. 2) the surface at Skizone has a lot more friction than at the other slopes, so you need a lot more control to do it. so it punishes you if you make a mistake, which means your technique becomes that much better. 3) unlike a dry slope, the gradient and speed of the slope can be altered by the instructor so it can be made to suit all abilities. also the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I fear heights so I had to wait until my grand daughter was 6 years old and she could Go Ape on her own. ( the 5 year old, just the minimum 1 m tall will have to wait a year as she has to be accompanied????) Supervising adults have to stay on hand. We booked easily on line and chose the 10 am slot to be first in the day . £18 for a good hour slot. Parking max is £10 for 4 hours. WiFi is a Council run site in the cafe. My grand daughter loved it and was fearless- managing an amazing 7 circuits in the time. You are clipped on so have to stay in order and therefore may go at the pace of the slowness, although there are 2 routes Both end in a zip wire. We re booked for a 2 nd outing today and it was equally great although off to a slow start while all the climbers were put into harness. It was a little chilly for watchers as the trees give shade from the weak sun. Warm up in the cafe or the 2 playgrounds afterwards... Staff friendly and enthusiastic.???? We have just done the return at Easter 2019 and the now 6 year old, just over 1 m had her 1 st Go Ape experience as part of her birthday presents. We booked the later 4 pm slot so their mummy could drive down from Somerset to watch too. The staff are really super- really professional and welcoming and very safety conscious. There was some hold ups particularly waiting for the zip wire but they kindly gave us an extra 15 minutes so the 6 and 7 year old grand daughters managed 6 circuits. We were told that coming soon will be a new addition joining the Junior Circuit with the adult zip wire ( being built by a French company where the Go Ape concept originated) Thank you for making this experience really special???? ( and I bought the £3 Go Ape medal to add to their fitness/ exercise collection). We will return!

For 2021, we re-opened on Saturday 8 May. You have to pre-book tickets in advance via our website. There is no admission on the door to any session. The Pells Pool is the oldest documented freshwater public pool in the UK. We celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2011 and continue to welcome thousands to our unique pool in the summer months each year. The Pells Pool is a spring-fed pool - 46 metres long by 23 metres wide pool. There are facilities for the whole family to enjoy, from our tree-lined green lawn, sun terrace and exercise lane, to our children's paddling pool. Come and enjoy a picnic on the tree-lined lawn. We also serve hot and cold drinks, ice creams and a selection of cakes.
Well over 100 years old now but still going strong and obviously well regarded by local residents. Visited with my family including small children on a beautiful , warm day and it was great to see everyone, young and old alike , enjoying this gem in Lewes. Well priced and staffed. Worth a visit.
