At elite 8 ball lounge we offer five world championship tables set in stylish relaxed surroundings with a fully licenced bar. Accessable wc facilities and wheelchair access.
A few of us travelled over from Cheltenham/Gloucester for a pool comp at the weekend. A very enjoyable day in a club that clearly caters to serious pool players. Although most of us we're hanging fron the night before and couldn't function. The tables look and play well and the atmosphere is cosy but very welcoming. We'll be back soon for another attempt (minus the hangovers).

I've been a member here for just over a year now and the classes are amazing, you get them for free with your membership, or they're about £6 I think if you aren't a member, there's a big diversity of classes and they all make you feel like you're working hard, the instructors are all lovely, especially Kieran, he's really welcoming, and really energetic and motivational during your workout, He also makes great personal training programmes in the gym itself. The equipment is all modern and easy to use, and there's always instructors around if you need any help. There's a great diversity of work out equipment, from weight training, to cardio and everything else. The gym is pretty big which is good because you never have to wait for your turn on a machine. The pool is good, clean and modern, and there's plenty of changing rooms and showers. The reception staff are really friendly and helpful. They also offer student memberships for £25 rather than the usual £44. I'm very happy with this gym and wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

In spring 2019, a cycle training area was built on unused land in the Folly Sports Park. The park has been designed as a mini-village with landscaping with some of local landmarks. It is somewhere safe for adults and children to learn to cycle. The Farcycles charity also offer free training for children on their balance bikes and also on pedal bikes.
Such a great little place for kids to learn and ride their bike in a safe environment. The volunteers are so friendly and helpful. A hidden gem.

Ice Rink located in the centre of Oxford. General skating, disco skating, skate school, parties, meetings, cafe and much more.
My children been having skating lessons here for a couple of years, and I join them afterwards for the "family skate" public session on Sunday afternoons. Always popular with families, the rink can get crowded, especially if there's a birthday party when they close off part of the rink for the party. Facilities are a little tired looking, but everything's here, including a nice cafe that does a decent coffee and a range of hot and cold snacks. There are a range of public sessions throughout the week, including skating discos and other themed events. Reasonable value and a good fun family activity.
