I'm an American who visits friends and family in Moose Jaw every few years. I hadn't been to this museum yet and I'm glad we visited. It's packed full of transportation history and great photo ops. It would be a lot of fun to visit this museum with children. My boys would have loved all the cars, trains, tractors, snowmobiles, etc.

Since 1906. Explore Saskatchewan and your world - the past, the present, and the future - as never before. We are a natural history museum offering life and earth sciences, as well as aboriginal history.
Regina, our former home for decades, was a city we were proud to take many visiting family members to see the famous Dinosaur and many exceptional wildlife scenes (back in the days when it was the Museum of Natural History.) This icon has the well-deserved reputation of being one of the very best internationally. If you're in the Queen City, be sure to stop in and be amazed!

The museum as a whole is an amazing interesting place. Lots of great displays and town replicas. Model train show was as spectacular as usual, Wheatland Express and simulator was great. Had a snack at the extremely busy restaurant and was great. Food is good and quite reasonable pricing. A definite must see in Saskatoon! Check out the Steam Train...Its unreal

For 10CAD you can spend more than half day in the Western Development Museum and also the outdoor Heritage Farm and Village Museum. The indor museum, in the main building is very well displayed with a lots information from time to time. The theater-movie seats is beautiful and the Eagle is one of a kind. All of the collection is original. Very educative and for sure kids will enjoy their day in this museum. It's a must visit place if you want to know the history of Saskatchewan (1905-2005).

This is a must se while visiting or passing through Battleford. It is an old school that has three floors (no elevator) and four outbuildings. We spent over two hours exploring this museum and would go back again. Admission is by donation. We started at the top floor as my husband loves guns and the while top floor is all about guns, bullets, knives and old uniforms. We enjoyed reading about the young men that went off th war along with their pictures. This is one of the most comprehensive collection of forearms in Canada! The second floor contained an old school house room along with old toys, as well as a veterans room which had several old uniforms and artifacts from Rebellion and WWI and II. The main floor housed a general store along with Metis and foray nation collections. The outbuildings were very interesting. There was a firehall with three fire trucks that had been restored along with a bell you can ring! As well as a service station a,d a carpenter shop. The staff were very knowledgable and so friendly! Highly recommend visiting.

The Diefenbaker Center is a historic monument to the Canadian Prome Minister from Saskatchewan. Building is located near his burial and has a nice river view. Very nicely gathered collection of the WWI and II artifacts, hockey themed Canadian trophies and accomplishments, the original design of the Prime Minister’s work office, his university gown, personal items and a round table room with photos of his cabinet. All of this has fitted in a small building that you can tour in 20 minutes to an hour. It also has a gift shop with nice and creative items to choose from for a souvenir.
