Miami is hot hot hot! And it’s not just the sultry weather. Here, the nightlife is scorching, thanks to a strong Latin influence and spicy salsa culture. Dance the noche away in a nightclub, or indulge in a fancy meal at one of the city’s celebrity-owned restaurants. By day, hit the beach of course, or have yourself a walkabout, taking in Miami’s colorful art deco architecture. Grab a Cuban sandwich in Little Havana, then ride the vintage carousel at Virginia Key Beach Park.

Come visit the world's only museum dedicated to the most important art form of our lifetime. The Museum of Graffiti celebrates the pioneers of the movement and tells the real story of the birth and growth of this controversial art form. The Museum includes a world-class gift shop stocked with limited edition merchandise and exclusive items from the most talented graffiti artists.
Waaahooouuu!!!! That, is an experience! Visiting Wynwood and not going to the Museum is, to me, the mistake not to make. Carlos, the curator and tour guide is transmitting all his passion and knowledge about street art, a tour with him is much more like a voyage than a tour. So one piece of advice: Do not miss the museum!

Built in 1916 as a winter retreat, this lavish villa is a tribute to the Italian Renaissance. The museum contains much of the original furnishings and artwork, and is surrounded by lush, formal gardens.
Loves this place the architectural designs are breathtaking I would definitely recommend taking the time to see it. The history is also very interesting

The Deering Estate is a 21st Century house museum and an environmental preserve listed on the National Register of Historic Places, owned by the State of Florida and managed by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. The Estate offers daily tours of our historic houses -the Stone House and Richmond Cottage, as well as seasonal tours of the lush natural areas where fossil bones have been found, dating back as far as 50,000 years. From canoe tours to butterfly walks and guided nature hikes, the Deering Estate has diverse activities for the whole family to enjoy. General admission is $15 for adults and $7 children (ages 4-14) between the hours of 10AM and 4PM. The last ticket is sold at 4PM and the Estate closes at 5PM. We are open every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving. *Mangrove Boardwalk closed until further notice*
This is a great stop - staff was very helpful (alerted us to possible manatee sighting in the tidal basin, which turned out to be true!). Unlike Vizcaya up the road (the estate of the other Deering brother), on a weekday we could wander here without any crowding. Do go upstairs in the house - the bedrooms and baths are very authentic to the time, and many items owned by the family are still onsite (or have been returned to the house). Gardens aren't as extensive as Vizcaya, and mangrove boardwalk was still broken when we visited. Do walk to the Chinese bridge about a mile from the house. All in all, a lovely stop with very nice and helpful people. One constructive suggestion - the explanatory postings on the art could be more helpful about dates and sources of the work.

The Bay of Pigs museum was an incredible experience. We had several hours after our cruise and before our flight, so we checked it out. Saddled with all of our luggage, we were greeted by our tour guide, who invited us to leave our bags in the lobby. This is a free museum of Bay of Pigs artifacts, proclamations and pictures. Our experience was led by one of the soldiers who lived it and then survived as a POW for 2+ years, in Cuba, after the invasion… very moving. The stories were riveting and our time there was well worth the trip into Little Havana. As we said good bye, we were invited back anytime, because, “we are all now friends for life.” Please check it out- it is so special... you won't find this history anywhere else.

Wings Over Miami Air Museum serves as a tribute to those veterans and aviators who pioneered civilian and military aviation. With this goal in mind, the museum both displays and flies military and classic aircraft to share the rich history of flight. It provides an operating legacy of aircraft with an insight to the legends of the pilots who flew them. This is a charming little museum that provides an opportunity for a close-up look at classic and war bird aircraft. They have many enclosed cases filled with models and other memorabilia. Often a visitor will see plane restoration in process and on weekends, people may chat with the pilots of the planes if they are in the hangar. While visitors can't climb on the planes, cameras are welcomed and the staff is very friendly.
Best airplane museum in South Florida! South Florida has a lot of things but, great museums is not one of them. I finally found this place a few days ago. The place is small but, the collection is awesome. The staff is very friendly and happy to answer any questions. The highlight in my book is the museum's F-14 Tomcat, this is an awesome plane and to see it up close is incredible, they provide in a great history on the airplane as well as their airplane. The collection includes a Soviet Yak, a British Hawk Hunter, and soon to be Mig 21 that they just acquired. A lot of their aircraft are flight worthy, it is a lot like a flying club. They have crews working on different aircraft and that makes the experience awesome.

highly recommend! They have the Ferdinand Magellan presidential car and you can get an extra tour on that. Also great for kids since there is a play area and a train ride every hour.
