Decided to write this as I’m sat having the most amazing breakfast they include with your stay. Choice of super fresh fruit and cereals or your choice of eggs. Or half and half! Arrived super last minute after a long road trip from Mumbai and was welcomed by Oli the manager, super nice dude who made us feel welcome and brought out a cold beer for me to cool down with. Him and his wife run the place with German efficiency (he’s from Germany) and the local staff are excellent. Really nice guys. We decided to go for the cottage, which was absolutely lovely. Clean and well presented, with everything you need when in a warm climate. Situated in a beautiful garden with winding paths that lead you around, I couldn’t have been happier with our stay here. Thanks from Max and Deepika

I stayed at this property with family for 3 nights from 25th March 2022 to 28th March 2022. It was a fabulous experience .. If you want a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing beach vacation, this property scores a 10/10. The property is huge with lush green tress, coconut trees are amazing, peacocks roaming around. Very calm surroundings as the resort is situated away from the main road. The rooms are clean, the corridors , restaurant are very clean. The beach is very clean and is easily accessible. Plus point if you have kids: The pool is great and the beach is near :) The resort is close to all major tourist attractions. The staff is very courteous and supportive. This makes the overall experience even more enjoyable. Food was great and the taste was really good. Limited options in breakfast buffet due to lower number of guests in the resort but no compromise on taste. You have to carry your own liquor. There is no liquor served on premises. Suggestions to the hotel management. 1. Please get the outside walls of your resort cleaned / painted. This will improve the look of the resort. If one were to look at the building from outside in a photo/in real , it doesn't really look so attractive 2. The name plate of the resort looks very plain and uninteresting. Maybe this is also something you can redo. 3. Pls see if you could install some more games / activities for kids considering the huge space you have. 4. Improve the speed of service in the restaurant.

A stay in Starling River Resort, Dandeli is about far more than just accommodation – it is about reviving the human spirit! With location-inspired architecture, our resort presents a luxurious, full-service experience. Located in the outskirts of Dandeli and near the banks of River Kali.
We booked a room through their official website, to begin with, the reservation team (Khushi) was not at all enthusiastic to reserve for us despite several phone calls. Once we reached, we noticed there is NO MOBILE RECEPTION OR WI-FI. The rooms were in average condition, no stopper in bathtub, stained linen, no proper amenities, indoor games in pathetic condition, swimming pool very dirty with algae on the inner walls and floor, it seemed that the filtration plant has not been used for weeks together. Basic amenities such as hot water and toiletteries were not provided. When we insisted on hot water, they gave us an immersion heater and asked us to fill the bucket in our room and carry it to the bathroom. The river at the end of property was STINKING OF SEWAGE water released in it (it seemed like that). The staff was courteous but despite being aware of the issues faced by all guests over the time, they didn't work on maintaining their quality. On top of it, the staff had the audacity to request us to give a good review. The food was good. The chef was humble and well spoken. In one line : it seemed like their sole purpose is to overcharge and loot the guests. Thoroughly disappointed. Owner cares two hoots as long as he is busy counting his daily collection money.

AC and Non-AC Rooms with Ocean and jungle view..
The place is simply awesome in every possible way, from room to staff to food. The team here is very friendly and supportive. The view from the balcony is stunning! Room charges are affordable and are very good. I will definitely give 5 stars to this place and will revisit whenever I get a chance. Thanks Sumit, Robin, Dipak and everyone at Shanti Krishna Residency for a homely stay.

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay at the Cintacor Island resort starting the 16th April 2022. Mr.Pavan from the front desk gave us a call on the prior day to guide us on the way to the resort and to coordinate the Ferry ride. On the day of arrival we were greeted well by the staff, luggage transportation to our residence was prompt, briefing of the room was done very well with immense courtesy by Ms. Sharafeen. Thank you Pavan and Sharafeen for your hospitality. It truly makes a difference The cottages are very well planned and beautiful. The food (a la carte) was amazing although i missed the buffet. Always remember to have their Crab speciality which truly stand out. Food was fantastic and Nitin, Deepak & Brian ensured that all of our dining experiences were enjoyable. Although they were operating with less staff, we never felt any deterioration in the food quality and the promptness to attend to our needs and comfort. Truly appreciate the attentive service by many staff of which i remember one name, Mr. Ganesh - Thank you. Praises for Mr. Amit the Bartender - Thank you for the wonderful cocktails and the nice chats by the bar counter. Finally, what makes this place unique is the water activities and a special thanks to Gajendra and Subhash for organising all of the water sports activities in a very memorable and safe manner. Overall, a great time spent , great experience received, and great memories to hold. Thank you all staff at Cintacor Island Resort

A beach stay that's located at a perfect location - between lush green and rocky hills and sea. The beach ahead of it is almost like a private beach as it has limited visitors even during peak season (1st Jan). A perfect spot to watch sun setting in the sea and stargazing at night. We as a family stayed in the seashore till 10.30Pm with no lights or people around and witnessed the beautiful bio luminous effect that happens only in this sea ( the Nirvana beach) in South India on a New moon day. Rooms are authentic with Manglore tiled roof that's perfect for both hot and cold climate. There is clean white sand all around for kids to play and nice to walk around bare footed. The mangrove plants and trees around the rooms and Cafe gives enough shade and looks beautiful. There are many hammocks (sleeping swing) tied between trees near almost every rooms enabling us to lay down outside for a nap or a read in the cool breeze. The stay is suitable for both couples and solo or group travelers. Tent stay is provided aswell (not included in room charge) and there are a good number of well maintain common bathrooms and toilet for people staying in tent and others as well to use after batting in the sea. Raghu the manager at the beach stay was very hospitile and professional, and so was his assistant Sandesh. Raghu is always willing to help you with a smiling face. They help us by arranging for beach rides and car hires for travel around the town (Yana caves, Gokarna and several trekking spots are located around). Food provided at the Cafe is very delicious cooked by Bali who is 15years experienced along with his wife. Rooms are decently charged considering what the beach stay has in store for us in and around. On the downside food is moderately expensive at the Cafe though the quantity and taste is very good.

We had our doubts while going for this hotel but since Mayura was fully booked and our dates were not flexible, went for it. It was good beyond expectations. If you remember that this is not a luxury resort then you will enjoy very much. It is right above the falls and you can listen to the sound of the gushing water to your heart's content. Rooms are basic but clean, washroom is big and very clean. Food is mostly good, tea is awesome. Ultra friendly staff. The night sky with the waterfall sound in the background and numerous shooting stars was an unforgettable experience.

I stayed at the Dandeli Lodge with a few friends for a night. The stay was fairly comfortable, for the price I paid must admit was a good deal. A quick review that should help fellow travellers Location - 3/5 The lodge is bang opposite the bus stand and well situated within Dandeli Town. If you are looking for a campsite or jungle stay then this is not for you. Being in town has its advantages though as proximity to transport, eateries and other facilities is big plus Rooms - 3/5 Fairly basic rooms, they have double bed and one 4 bed room. They were clean and toilets OK as well. We were there in peak monsoon so you feel a bit damp but then you are in a jungle and this year has seen crazy rains Service 3/5 Warm and hospitable staff. They don't have much to offer though as there is no restaurant or room service Cost - 4/5 Prices range between ₹ 1000 to ₹1500. Its is decent price for a night's sleep Overall, if you need a place to sleep for the night then do consider
