The largest city on the Adriatic Coast, seaside delight Split has been under Roman, Venetian, Austrian, French, Italian and Yugoslav control. There is an abundance of restaurants and wine cellars. Sites such as Diocletian's Palace and Mausoleum, the Grgur Ninski Statue and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St. Domnius justify its position as a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. The city's coves offer several lovely beaches, including central Bacvice. Ferries link Split to Dalmatian summer resorts.

Great value for money. Room very clean, good size. Bathroom clean but quite tight for space, I would imagine it would have been very difficult if I was a bigger size. Also bathroom/toilet was rather exposed to the bedroom with opeque glass doors. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. The guys at reception were so helpful and polite. Credit to the company. Excellent bus service from the town to Split, saves driving and parking in Split. Would absolutely use again and highly recommend this establishment.

The rooms were in a great location in the old town part of Split. The room was large and had a large bed not two singles pushed together thankfully. It wasn’t a hotel so can’t comment on the staff as you just pick up your key and let yourself in and out. Clean and everything worked. Bathroom was fine.

The room and bathroom immaculate, clean and beautiful, brilliant air con, lots of nice toiletries, clean towels, great tv and a fridge with free water. Srdjan was so helpful! Gave us recommendations and responded so quickly when we lost our key and got locked out. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Only thing I would say is that the balcony isn’t really worth the upgrade, we didn’t use it because it’s quite enclosed and overlooked. If bed is important to you, worth noting it’s quite firm (we liked this). Otherwise incredible stay, would definitely book again!

We had an amazing time at the hotel our room was lovely. Rafo the host helped us in so many ways from recommending bars to printing out our covid certificates. The room was spacious and very modern. We would highly recommend!

Ideal place to stay, if we came back to split I would absolutely stay here again. The rooms are in the best location, couldn't be more central right in the centre by the bell tower and the markets, but despite that we couldn't hear any street noise and it felt very safe. Our host was warm and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were a good size with lots of storage space, the shower was powerful, good lighting and lots of plug sockets. Rooms had a mini fridge, Hairdryer and safe and there was a lovely coffee machine just outside the room. Rooms were regularly serviced and left spotless. Rooms air conditioned. I don't have any criticisms whatsoever and would strongly recommend staying here if you visit split.

We had four nights at The Damida Luxury Rooms. Best choice we made. From the moment we booked, Daniela was very helpful and welcoming. She arranged our airport taxi transfer, which was a godsend as we arrived at night. Our driver parked nearby and walked us to our door (parts of old town are quirky narrow streets and alleyways). Our room was perfect, ideal for our short break. We enjoyed sitting and eating breakfast in the small pretty courtyard, Daniela arranged for the lovely housekeeper to leave fresh bread and prosciutto ham for us one morning. Delicious with fresh coffee from our coffee machine. Coffee and tea facilities are provided but there are plenty of places nearby to get breakfast. It is literally 2 minutes walk from a number of lovely, small, local restaurants, on the edge of the old town, where we had some lovely meals in the evening. Also very handy for walking up out of town to the glorious Marjan Hill viewpoint. Although in the old town, it is only a short stroll into Split main town. Perfect accommodation in a perfect position.

Apartment is in excellent location. View from the window is stunning. Rooms are small, but we spent most if the time out exploring Split and time on the beach. Breakfast was very good, we had it twice and both times food and service was great. Thank you

The apartment was so homely, well equipped and located in the ideal place, within the walls of Diocletian’s 3rd century palace. The surrounding area was bustling and vibrant with many bars and restaurants. Frane met us and showed us around the apartment, he was friendly, witty and very informative. He recommended some lovely places to visit and where best to dine. He was always available via email to give us advice, he even reserved two trips for us. We hope to go back to Split as we fell in love with it, and when we do we will definitely stay at Apartments Posejdon & Neptun

Location is great as you are in the heart of Old town. The downside to this is that when you have luggages, you will need to walk 10 minutes from outside the city gates. Room design is fantastic. Very elegant, design. I would have rated it 5 stars if there was more attention to details. The focus of the hotel is aesthetics, not functionality. No plugs for the hairdryer in the bathroom. I had to dry my hair using the plug in the nighttable next to the bed. There was no tiny soap in the lavatory. The stairs leading up to the room smells There was no tiny soap in the lavatory. The stairs leading up to the room smells like a dirty kitchen as it was next to a restaurant, Villa Spiza, and they use the door downstairs as a storage/ extension of the restaurant. So hold your breath till you get to the room. No coffee in the room. Only tea and hot pot. Shower heat doesnt last long. When my as a storage/ extension of the restaurant. So hold your breath till you get to the room. No coffee in the room. Only tea and hot pot. Shower heat doesnt last long. When my daughter showered, she gets all the hot water. When it was my turn, half way there was no hot shower anymore. NO towel rods to dry your towel, except a hook. No place to hang the hand towels either. The room is supposed to be sound proof but some noise can still be heard as Split is a party place. Good thing I am a late sleeper at 1am.Bring ear plugs. The apartment could do better with these little extras.
