The Tropical Coral was our home sweet home while on San Andrés Island. The location is perfect: close to city center without being too close. It is a quiet neighbourhood. There is a supermarket nearby. The hotel is spotless. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are very spacious. Great lounge area with a pool table, and hammocks too! We even had a kitchen in our room, and the AC worked great. The shower was good too: I have very long and thick hair, and it was easy to wash ;) The wifi was good, I could even work. But the best about the Tropical Coral are the owners, they are the friendliest and most helpful people on earth! We even hugged and cried a little bit when we left them (no joke... we love people, and they are very good people!). We recommend 100%!

Quite and very clean, this small hotel is perfect for couple and family. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the breakfast nice. Situated in a quite street, it is a nice change from the noisy downtown

We had a great experience at Bugry Beach Hostel. We will definitely return here. We enjoy canoeing, snorkeling, sailing and more sea activities. Beautiful memories were made here on this visit to the island.

The WORST hotel EVER. !!!! In checking in, we met the owner, Hishem Onaissi. Very nice man. He made suggestions for us, good restaurants etc. We were looking forward to a nice relaxing stay. That was not to be. We wanted to give a 5-star review, but in good conscience, we could. The hotel is built from modular forms. The rooms are small. 3 meters by 4,5 meters, or 10’ x 15’. The bathrooms are tiny. One of the main problems is the noise. You can hear T.V.’s playing, conversations, sex etc. I had to stuff toilet paper for earplugs. Each room has a ‘port hole’ window that looks unto the hallway. Why, I have no idea. But when we tried to go to bed, the very bright hallway lights shone into our room. We complained and they turned off ALL the lights. People coming back late at night were faced with a dark hallway to negotiate. Strange Our T.V. never worked. Although we asked 3 times to fix it, they never did. They provide Netflick,, which we really wanted to watch. Our shower was a joke, Just a straight pipe out of the wall with low pressure. The beds are HARD. Like sleeping on a park bench. They don’t provide blankets, hair dryer etc. We had to ask for blanket. And one last insult. Next to the lobby, they have 5 slot machines that you can hear at night. “ding, ding, ding.” Was like we we’re in Las Vegas, Sleep . . . yeah right. If you plan to stay here, be prepared.
