I was there for a couple of nights and I must say I was not thrilled. The room I got was at the ground floor of the hotel, but it was in fact below the street level. The result is that anybody from the street can look down through the window and there is a very uncomfortable feeling of lack of privacy. Otherwise, the room was big and comfortable and nice. Another problem was the fact that the door frame simply broke when I tried to open it. Do not imagine I am some kind of muscle guy, I am a physicist (yes, think Sheldon Cooper...) and yet, when I tried to open the door, the frame broke at the door lock - which meant the door was not closing properly anymore. I suspect it was already a bit loose and it just broke the first time I opened it. Although the lady at the reception was there and saw very well what happen, the result is that they asked me to pay for the repair - not much, some 20 EUR, but I find this very unfair. Finally, the breakfast was nothing special, although it was plentiful. What reminded me very much about the old communist times was that I was receiving every morning some breakfast vouchers that I had to give to the waiter. In short, maybe it works if you cannot find something better, but honestly I will avoid returning there.

Good location, secured parking. Nice, rustic house. Great and friendly owner. You will like the place even more if you are a petrolhead, more concrete, an Alfa lover. Owner speaks great English, rooms are clean, breakfast good.

River Park is Cluj’s new hotel brand, with a strong personality and hard-to- top level of hospitality. With the contemporary design and elegance of the large Western cities, River Park Hotel aims with absolute confidence at two categories of urban tourism, business and leisure, being perfectly equipped to meet the highest standards of the industry.
Modern aspect, friendly staff, comfort, very clean rooms, quality decoration, natural flowers everywhere, fresh food(eggs prepared by request, in front of you). As a total, an experience that increased the general feeling of delightful stay in Cluj-Napoca! Thank you! Near the river, a very short walk distance from the center of the city and the parking place where also a plus! The impression was that is a very good management and staff beyond all of this! Congratulations to all! Definitely a place where you want to return!

From the kind, helpful friendly English-speaking Maria at check-in to the staff on duty the following day, I can't state enough favorable things about this wonderful find. The 5-bed dorm room was comfortable and warm, the pillow was amazingly soft and fluffy and the bunks made of solid wood. Large lockers are in a separate room, and can hold packs of varying sizes. There were four sinks in the ladies room, three separated toilet rooms and a room with three showers (w/curtains). Plenty of space for all. The large common area was comfortable with couches and a coffee table, and smelled heavenly - a room deodorizer or fresh flowers, whatever it was, I wanted to spend all my time there. :-) The guesthouse is close to everything: the nearby town squares, the churches and the tall stone tower, cafes and bars, and all manners of restaurants. It is about 3 kilometers from the bus/train stations, an easy, flat walk. WIFI was strong and appeared to work in the dorm room as well as the common area. Free parking on site for those with own vehicles. It didn't bother me so much but this may impact future guests: Speaking only from the point of view of someone who stayed in the 5-bed dorm, the motion sensor light in the hallway outside the glass dorm door flooded the room with light every time someone walked by (which seemed to happen an awful lot on the weekend nights I stayed). Perhaps a suggestion would be to have the ability of hanging up a thick curtain or blanket on the inside of the door to keep out the light? Just a thought....

If I could give 10 stars I would. This hotel is hospitality at its best from the moment we arrived until we left. The owners are super friendly, the staff also & very efficient. We were upgraded to a suite with a view of the castle, outstanding. The cleanliness impeccable & everything you need provided in the bathroom. The food was delicious, choice plentiful, breakfast was like a banquet! The castle is across the road & everyone in Bran is friendly. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, thank you for a wonderful trip.

Elegance and more... offeres you the maximum satisfaction into a quiet environment into the city center of the Satu Mare. The Dome Hotel is into an historic palace completely refurbished gives you modernity and vintage atmosphere at the same time.
We stayed at the Dome Hotel two nights in January 2020. It appears to be a new hotel in a nice area of town. It was easy to walk to local sites and restaurants. The design is modern with an Italian feel. We reserved a "Deluxe Double or Twin Room" and I think they gave us a free upgrade to an executive double. We found it to be very spacious. In addition to the main room and the bathroom, there was a closet/dressing room that provided a good way to keep the suitcases out of the way. The room came with fluffy robes and slippers. The bathroom walls were all glass, which was a bit strange. However, there were blinds built into the wall, so people couldn't see into the bathroom. Otherwise, the bathroom was beautiful with lots of hot water. The drain did clog on our second day, causing the shower to flood into the rest of the bathroom. But I easily lifted the drain cover and cleared the clog myself. The hotel had free on-site parking. Free breakfast came with our room, in the Dome Restaurant across the parking lot from the hotel. It was delicious, with food for both European and American tastes. The staff were very kind and helpful. My husband asked for an iron, and the front desk clerk said she would iron his shirt free of charge. Staff in the hotel and restaurant spoke English. Things to improve: -The temperature in the room was set very warm, and it took us a while to figure out how to lower it. Once we knew how it was fine. The heating system was quiet. -The bed had strange pillows. They looked very full and fluffy, but when you put your head on them they deflated into flat sacks. I ended up using the small decorative pillow for sleeping. - The bed had beautiful fluffy comforters, but they were much too warm. The second night I used my cotton robe as a blanket. I suggest providing a thin blanket in the closet. To be fair, we stayed at two other area hotels on this trip, and they also had flat pillows and comforters that were too warm, so maybe that's a local thing. Overall, a very nice hotel. We were pleased with our choice.

I saw when i arrives that there are noises comming from the window and it is not closing tight. Woke up in the middle of the night and the curtains were fluttering and the window was half opened(with the locking system closed!). Very suprins this cold night. Didn't knew why i get cold during the sleep.
