The Alda Sada Marina Hotel is located on the beachfront, on the coast of Sada, a vila mariñeira full of life, with an extraordinary landscape and a wide cultural and gastronomic offer.
We booked there to visit the town of A Coruna. I was afraid that it would be a touristic summer place but instead we found a very pleasant and relaxed port city. The hotel is facing the sea and some sport grounds. The attractions in front are making some noise but well isolated by the double gazing windows. The hotel is also at 10 minutes’ walk from the fishing port. During that walk, you will find all sorts of restaurants, bars and ice cream places. The hotel itself is very calm even in summer and very spacious. The hotel has an underground parking but we always found spots in the nearby streets for free. The buffet breakfast fitted our needs. Altogether a very pleasant stay.

Rooms are small and damp. Beds are tiny and hard as a rock. So don’t expect much of a sleep in here. Rooms are on the upper floor, so you have to drag your bags through a sharp staircase. If you’re especially unlucky (as one in our company was) you’ll be offered the room in the reception (yes, in the reception). You shut it by a slide door and it’s located just next to entrance, two meters from the reception desk and one meter from the stairs. So you’ll be hearing every suitcase being dragged up the stairs, every conservation being conducted at the reception, and every person entering or exiting through the main door. Breakfast is lackluster and served at another premise. Staff are some of the most rude and aggressive I have ever encountered. Expect to be yelled at if you dare to complain about anything.

Excellent place. Weather wasn’t great so used the spa instead of the pool. Staff were lovely. Room was perfect and so clean. Would really recommend and we went to the restaurant across the road which was fantastic and so convenient. Just a short walk into town the next day to rejoin the route.

The hotel is rated 2 stars but it worth 4! Everything was great. Room was modern, clean, big. It has spacious elevators, breakfast was outstanding, and they don't serve dinner at the location but the restaurant they send you (Encontro) to has a wonderful service and the best paella in town. So fas has been the best hotel of our Camino de Santiago (Saint James Way) journey.

We were quite dissatisfied with the tiny room and it’s poor ventilation, the food was not nearly the quality of other casas along the Camino and the service wasnt overly friendly. A saving grace is the brief walk around the well manicured gardens.
