Welcome to Winter Wonderland! 20 dreamlike rooms uniquely carved by master ice sculptors from around the world. Enjoy an unforgettable dinner and a night cap in the ice bar. Sleep safely and warm in thermal sleeping bags, in complete arctic stillness. Our snow hotel is open 20.12-20.04. Our Gamme cabins are open all year round. Inspired by the traditional Lapland hunting and fishing hut “gamme” found in the Sami areas of the Arctic. All cabins are equipped as small jewels - air conditioning, underfloor heating, bathroom with Aurora wall. Be sure to visit our Winter Park: our reindeer, dogyard with its 200 huskies. Stop by Gabba Cafe for lunch. Prebook and enjoy a 3 course dinner in the magnificent Laven restaurant. Last but not least, visit the surreal Snowhotel. We also arrange northern lights tours, snowmobile safaris, ice fishing and snowshoe walking tours, the infamous Kirkenes King Crab Safari and numerous Husky activities.
Staying at the Snowhotel is such an incredibly unique experience! I highly recommend it! The staff are amazing and make your experience super personalized. I stayed one night in an ice room and one night in a cabin! The dogsledding tour was so much fun… same with the king crabs (I don’t think I have ever tasted crabs that good in my life)! The cabin was beautiful with an awesome view and super clean. The ice room has shared facilities in the main building just s short walk away from the ice area (it is attached to the the ice hotel so you don’t have to walk outside). They give you a sheet and a sleeping bag and I slept 8+ hours and never felt cold! Breakfast and dinner are provided and the food was excellent! If you are looking for a super unique experience it is definitely worth the trip!

The cabin lies in the hills of Ryfylke just near the Refsvatn lake, a beautiful, child-friendly area. There are several marked trails in the area, for example, the path to the Pulpit Rock. The new Preikestolen Mountain Lodge was opened in May 2009. The old Preikestol cabin was built in 1949 just beside the old Vatne mountain farm. You can also go fishing or swimming in the lake Revsvatnet. There is a lot of activities in the area. We have rental of Canoe, kayak and SUP.
One shower , one toilet per floor ( 9 rooms per floor ) . The room is in another hut and not in the main building as you might think . A room so small that you can hardly move in it . There is no wifi in the rooms !!! The wooden floor in the corridor creaks when people cross and interferes with sleep . The entrance to the room is with the help of a code . When you enter the code , the beep sounds in the rooms And for all this you also pay 150 euros , which is very far from getting value for money . In short - this exploitation of the owner , is the unflattering side of Norway !!!!

Stad hotel has potential and the rooms in the new part are very, very nice. Modern fabrics, styles and colours. Very delicate and fresh bathroom. The location onto the sea is also good. The rooms is the strength of this hotel. We had dinner at the hotel which was a buffet and this was not up to the expected level. If the restaurant improves the food and educates the personnel, this hotel has a potential of becoming a 5 buttons score, but now we left with an average impression. Nice rooms, but too much canteen restaurant.

Outermost on beautiful Kjerringøy you find Kjerringøy Rorbusenter, where we offer accommodation in fishermans cabins, fishing trips and other activities in spectacular surroundings.
Just had a day trip and drove out to the end of Kjerringøy just to discover this pearl of a place. Had coffee and ice cream and popcorn. Very friendly staff. Makes such a difference to get a welcoming feeling. Worth a visit if you’re on the island. (Be aware, Very narrow driving path getting out there. )

Awesome location near restaurants, grocery store, and bus stop. Apartment was clean and modern. Stayed two nights and would definitely recommend. The apartment room I stayed in had a washer, which came in handy.

In Ballstads most sunrich place you find Solsiden Brygge. Ballstad is known for it beautiful nature and its good fishing. Situated outside the range of traffic, Solsiden Brygge can offer 12 rorbu-appartments with high standard. The brygge is situated between to activ fish fabrics. There is also a fishing boat named Vibeke that has capasity for 9 persons. Vibeke takes you on deep sea fishing 2 times a day. Welcome to Solsiden-brygge!
My extended family went last week to Ballstad and Solsiden brygge for a rorbu vacation. One of the purpose was to be United at the same premeses/ location. During the check in the staff started to explain how to find our rorbu by car in a another part of Ballstad. I said this is a mistake. We have order a rorbu at Solsiden brygge, then the staff explained how impresis and how limited information i had been through as a preperation. In addition i had also been order through Booking.com and then i was responsible for everything by myself. I didn’t understand Solsiden brygge was some kind of a Airbnb aggregator i Ballstad. If I was aware of that i would used another company or order direct in Airbnb myself. I informed the Owner how dissatisfied i was and they offer us a hot tub for the evening.as a compensation. This is the reason way the rating not ended with 1

This breathtaking place is located in between rural mountens a short drive from Stavanger. The location it self is postcard worthy, but the hospitality an effort to make our stay as good as possible was noticeable. The staff was going out of its was to ensure our comfort and wellbeing. We had gotten a flat tire at midnight and needed a place to sleep, and they were still welcoming! We were so grateful for them and it wasn't too bad of a cost (1,320 NOK for a 4-person room). The fact that the facilities (Wifi, Gameroom, Skatepark, etc.) was included in the cost PLUS breakfast made it definitely worth it. Very nice and helpful staff, as well.

Stay in a Fisherman house at the old merchant town of Glesvaer. We have two types of apartments, one with two bedroms (total four people) and the other with three bedrooms (total six persons). We have 17/18 feet boats available for rental. With a unique conference building by the coastline, this is an excellent place for small conferences, sales meetings, team building exercises and other arrangements. We have a close cooperation with the cozy cafe, Glesvær Kafe.
wanted something authentic and certainly received that here. the fishing cabins were ideal for a peaceful break with spectacular views. all amenities included. staff really kind and helpful. would be perfect for family and friends as the cabins are big enough and with the location next to the restaurant perfect for a stress free time if you dont want to cook.
