The largest of Italy’s fresh-water lakes, Lake Garda is located in northeast Italy. Tourists traveling here will find plenty of excursions and activities to keep them entertained year-round—everything from visiting hilly wine regions to exploring 14th-century castles. The towns and communities surrounding Lake Garda offer easy day trips from Venice, easily accessible by car or train. Major sights include the towns of Sirmione (which attracts most Lake Garda visitors thanks to its historic Rocca Scaligiera castle) and Riva del Garda (for the Varone waterfalls located nearby), as well as the region’s hills, which offer numerous hiking trails for adventurous walkers.

I just can say, that this is quite expensive hotel where, if you want visit swimming pool, you should wear swimming caps and each costs 6 euro!!! I think that this kind of stuf should be included into the price.

We stayed in a 1 bed apartment that was modern and very clean. Staff were very friendly. Sofa beds in the kitchen/lounge area were 2 individual ones that suited our older children and just enough space to leave them up in the day time. Good WiFi and air con(although a bit noisy to have on at night). Beautiful views across the mountains and a balcony off each room. 15 mins walk to restaurants and bars and a further 15 mins to the centre of town. 5 mins in the car and easy to park. Being a bit out of town the location was quiet and suited us well. Parking directly outside or in the underground car Park. Only downside was the pool which was small and had limited beds/shaded areas. Riva is a great base for exploring the North of the lake and we would revisit.

Prezzi assolutamente adeguati. Consigliatissimo.

Small B&B with lake view The room always perfectly clean Structure is not very isolated and you could hear the kids making noise in the room next door.... There is no possibility to have lunch or dinner in the structure but there are affiliated restaurants The small pool is not accessible in winter as it is not heated (but I think they are planning to heat it even for the cold months) Negative note for breakfast, repetitive and with little choice (probably with no homemade cakes) DOG ARE WELCOME :)

Good hotel for our requirements. Quiet and nicely located though not in the absolute centre. Easy walking to all the restaurants and bars. Prompt and friendly service. Small but very adequate breakfast. We would stay there again.

New three-star hotel close to Garda lake in a quiet location. Perfect spot for visiting the beautiful parks of the area. The hotel is the ideal starting point for visiting the countless historical sights, monuments and beautiful surroundings. Less than 20 kilometers from the fascinanting homeland of Romeo and Juliet, Verona. A few kilometers further is the likewise great city Mantova of the Gonzaga family. We recommend you visit between the many possibilities that the area has to offer: the roman caves of Catullus in Sirmione and, for those who love relaxing, enjoy a swill in the SPA Aquaria overlooking the lake. Another charming location is Borghetto, noted for being one of the most beautiful hamlets of Italy with its water mills on the banks of the river Mincio. The hotel is very confortable also for families with children. The Gardaland amusement Park is only a couple of kilometers away. Last but not least the enchanting botanic gardens Sigurtà and the wildlife Park Natura Viva.
My wife and I have just recently returned to Ireland after spending 5 nights at the Hotel Buena Onda. This was a really enjoyable stay made possible by the hosts. We were warmly greeted each time we met ensuring we enjoyed our stay. Situated in a lovely area the hotel is modern and clean and located only a 5-10 minute walk from the center. P.s the breakfast each morning was fantastic. I would def recommend for couples who are looking a few days peace and quiet.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here and was left a little disappointed. When we arrived we needed to call as our keys where not available and we needed to wait for the host to come and drop them off as there is no reception. We had 2 large suitcases with us (our 4 nights here was part of a bigger trip to Italy) there was no offer to help us carry the suitcases up to the top floor, just simply opened the main door and walked away. When we got to our room; I was initially impressed however; we then noticed stains on the bedding; I have attached a photo. I was then really uncomfortable sleeping in the bed. During the 4 night visit the room was cleaned once and the stains remained. The room itself is very small, a little too small for a 4 night visit! Being more positive, the price is great and the location is perfect! Would be ideal for a short 1 or 2 night break! With a strong recommendation to change the dirty duvet on the top floor!

Private garden and jetty for the guests.
very nice place direct at the lake with privat access and Balcony to the lakeside. Suite is very nice and clean, just a kitchenet is missing. 15 minute walk to the old town or bus for 1 euro direct in front of the house. the restaurant is very good and they close around 11pm, so no noise.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is located on a narrow lakeside road. Hotel was excellent, owners friendly and helpfull. The room was spacious and breakfast was reasonably good. The hotel restaurant appeared to be permanently closed, and there were only 2 restaurants within walking distance, both fairly expensive. This is not the most scenic part of the lake, but it is handy for visiting Lecco by car (with ferry trips from there up the lake to Bellagio) or taking the fast roads up the east side of the lake (mostly tunnels) towards Switzerland. There is free parking alongside the hotel. The area appears to be popular with windsurfers, who arrive early in the morning and park outside the hotel. Overall, the hotel is very good value for money.
