Near the banks of Lake Victoria, Kampala, the capital of Uganda, is a lively city with a long history. Before the British, the city was the capital of the Buganda Kingdom, and remains so to this day. The city sits on several hills, each housing an important government or religious building. Kasubi Hill is the home of the Kasubi Tombs, a sacred burial ground of Buganda Kings. The Uganda Museum sits atop Kololo Hill, and features a hands-on collection of traditional musical instruments.

We stayed here for a month - tried somewhere else, and came straight back. If you are going to be in Kampala for a week or more and want somewhere secure, safe, clean, and brilliantly equipped then this is a fantastic option. It's about 10km out of the central area (a bonus in my view) but to my surprise the traffic is really light so you can get to Acacia Mall in 25 minutes by car. I will stay here every time I come to Kampala.

The staff was friendly and helpful with everything. The rooms are very small but not overpriced. My bathroom toilet flush buttons were broken so I had to pickup the cover to flush each time. Fans in the room were good, also there is a tv with a few channels. Wifi barely worked. Breakfast was simple but good, eggs, fruits, tea and coffee. Balconies were a big plus.

I enjoyed my stay, the service was very good and the golden rooms are gorgeous from the moment I arrived, the employees were lovely. For the price of the rooms and the quality of service provided, it's truly a bargain but I also understand that they newly opened otherwise I will definetly be back here. I recommend!
The place is serene and beautiful with natural vegetation. There is a swimming pool that suits both adults and children. It's a quiet environment with free wifi and excellent water heating systems. All rooms have televisions but a lounge to relax your mind too.
