Reviewed By pijlstaartjBij aankomst zag het er gezellig uit, leuke plantjes en aapjes in de bomen boven ons. De soort van chillroom was ook erg fijn, met ventilatie. De ruimte waar we sliepen was wel erg vochtig. Er zaten wel 2 klamboes bij en we hadden 2 ventilators op de kamer erg fijn! Ontbijtje was simpel maar lekker en de man was erg behulpzaam! Xo Marty

Room is very beautiful and very good clean. staff are very friendly and kelum is very good butler I highly recommend this place for world wide travelers.

Reviewed By KimberleyG214We stayed for 2 nights in the N.L.I Hotel in Habarana, it was a great experience! The host is so friendly and helps you with everything (he arranged our jeepsafari, he drove us to the city, to the busstation...) and everything with a big smile! The rooms were clean and we had a balcony with view on the garden. When we arrived he made us a banana milkshake :) The breakfast was also really good (also the coffee was good) If you’re looking for a hotel in Habarana, this is the place!

Reviewed By sharonapoppemaWe really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here during Christmas Eve and they prepared the best Christmas dinner ever! The breakfast (which included many options) was very delicious as well.

Best Sri Lankan Hospitality
Reviewed By Caroline GI stayed here for 2 nights and could have stayed longer. I was very relaxed from the get go. Lasantha picked me up from the train station and offered me lunch. Then took me to a spa for a massage - very nice amd reasonably priced! Had all meals there and was just delicious. I wouldnt have got the same quality at a restaurant. The next day Lasantha took me to Sigiriya and Dambulla in his tuk tuk and waited for me at both. Fantastic service! Really enjoyed my stay here and felt very relaxed!

Lovely stay
Reviewed By Nadia MWonderful service, a large home cooked breakfast organised for us each day before we would go out. The lady there was very lovely and gave advice on where to eat and was always around if we ever needed anything. No A/C in our room but had mosquito nets and a fan which wasn’t too bad. No hot water but was fine as it is so hot and it is refreshing. Great location, 5 min walk to small shops and places to eat, 20min drive to sigiriya rock.

Reviewed By SCD82A big thank you to Prageeth who made our stay over 15 & 16th March a wonderful experience under stressful and worrying times of the Corona virus situation. We were a family of four including my 80yr old mother and found ourselves in a semi lock down situation in Habarana. The wildlife parks just closed down which meant no elephant safari and we couldn’t really visit any of the other sights. Prageeth was an amazing host and just made us feel at home and who took away some of the panic and boredom that could have set in. We were well fed – and that thank you goes to Prageeth’s mum for her home cooking. We had a beautiful experience of watching the sunset with him from an amazing position (on top of a hill behind the homestay) and before it became a complete lockdown he took us for a walk around the neighbouring rice farms explaining how it is farmed and looked after. We were also lucky to meet the owner who does not stay at the property but was visiting when we were there. He very kindly helped with making enquiries regarding our flights and info on possible cancellations. The bedrooms were comfortable and met our needs. We made use of the communal sitting area and the outside veranda. Just be warned, you do need a lot of mossie repellent but once it is on, sit back and chill the evening away listening to music, snacking and laughing like we did. We could not have been in a better place than Tamarind Resort in our situation. Definitely recommend staying here.
