Tahiti and Bora Bora are the most well known French Polynesian islands, thanks to their picture-perfect beaches and romantic ambiance. Indeed, these islands are ideal for handholding, with their lush landscapes and mood-setting features like lagoons and grottos. The heart-shaped island of Mo’orea makes a wonderful base for divers and snorkelers eager to explore its surrounding barrier reef system. Feeding the massive, sacred eels of Huahine is a one-in-a-lifetime way to experience an important local ritual.

We stayed in a 1st floor (2nd to Americans) apartment. It was exceptionally clean and spacious for two people. We loved having the Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, and full size refrigerator. We found the AC cooled both rooms well if you just left the bedroom door open. I recommend the apartments because they are closer to the beach than most of the bungalows. They came and cleaned once during the week. As with most European hotels, you need to bring your own washcloths. Beach towels can be checked out from the front office free. Dishwasher, washer, and coffee pods can be purchased from front desk for a $1. Knowing this allowed us to pack very lightly. Amazing snorkeling straight out in front of the dock, near the 2 red boat channel markers. Loved watching the "beach dogs" play everyday when their owners returned from work.

Luxury Farés d'hôtes
The Archipel bungalows are very nicely decorated and with plenty of space and a nice terrace. In the evening option to eat at the restaurant with local food made by Mary Anne. A private beach space for resting or look for plenty of colorful fish and a Sting Ray location. Really enjoyed my stay.

Excited to be the first to review this spectacular find of a place! The Location Situated between the main Vaitape dock and Matira Beach. This Villa boasts GRAND views of the beautiful mountain and coastline. It is also a stonesthrow away from one of the BEST restaurants on Bora Bora main island La Villa Mahana (so when you book the Villa, also book a reservation to the restaurant. Theres limited space) Booking We booked thru Expedia and immediately the villa sent us a welcome note and started the correspondence. We were able to ask questions and recommendations on the area and restaurants. Check-In Upon arrival Laura was the warmest and most sincere person we met on our trip. Check-in was a breeze, we were given a tour of the property and our room. The Hotel Grounds One of the quirkiest (in a totally positive way) and most creative hotel stay we've had the privilege to visit to date. We simply had a fantastic time here. The Villa has 6 immaculately adorned rooms in total. Each room has its own dedicated outdoor seating area. The Villa is multi-leveled and has a rooftop lounge area which overlooks the bay and offers an EPIC panoramic view. The Room We had the Maestro room which was huge! Had a separate outdoor breakfast nook, lounge/seating area, dining area, and its own FULL kitchen (so if you have a family, this is perfect!) The huge room had an open floorplan, 2 separate seating areas and a gorgeous bathroom with views overlooking the bay. Amenities - The Villa has several bicycles for rent for the whole day or a half day. - We will definitely miss Cirra (the resident Daschund dog) who rang in the new year with us! She literally stayed up with us. She may very well be the best hotel mascot ever! Breakfast Delicious breakfast on the awesome terrace! Check-out Check out was a breeze. We were sad to be leaving. Laura had a taxi waiting for us ready to take us to our next destination. TIPS and OBSERVATIONS • Book your table at the La Villa Mahana. They fill up fast • Villa is situated on a slight hill but this is an advantage for the sweeping gorgeous views! Please be mindful of this when choosing to either rent a vehicle or relying on taxi service. If choosing taxi - you can ask them to drop you off at the top of the hill. • Bring a flashlight with you to dinner. Bora Bora streets are not well lit. The extra light will help • Mosquito repellent is a must on the island • Maestro and Sacriste are right next to each other if you need a huge family room • Please give Cirra the dog pets and love when you arrive. OVERALL Thank you so much Villa Yrondi and a special thanks to Laura who made our stay extra special! We appreciate you!

We were in b5 and seems to be newly renovated. Plenty of Hot water for the shower. No ac, but the location on the lagoon and fan inside of the room kept us more then comfortable. Dinner was fantastic all fish meals. Breakfast was coffee, Tea, baguettes and fruit Sometimes hard boiled eggs and also Nutella. The view is spectacular. We were pleasantly surprised. Would definately come back!. For us the trip was a diving adventure, we did not partake in the other offerings of the Island because after 3 dives in the pass all you want is your bed. There is much to explore around the pension and most Snacks and operations are more then willing to pick you up. We will return!

I loved everything in this villa. The super big clean room, the decorations, the pool… The view is the best. You could see the mountain of Moorea and beautiful sunset…love it. The beautiful breakfast restaurant. We supposed to stay 3 days but cuz of the lockdown, we changed the plan and only stayed one night. Highly recommended

This place was like being in your own family house. Corine and Richard did their best to make our stay pleasant and comforting. My husband fell down when we just arrived. Richard and Corine took care of him, they brought all he needed for the wounds, didn't make any calculation about the costs.afterwards Corine took us to the city and came back to take us back to the house. Any our request was always attended with a not a problem answer. The breakfast was delicious, with cheese, ham, eggs, fruits. fresh juice, fresh baguette, yogurt home made. The house was very clean although they have 4 dogs and 2 cats. The guesthouse is on the mountain and have great view of the sea and Moreea Island. There is also a little pool. The fact the we didn't have a car was not a problem since Corine too us wherever we wanted to go. We came back again on our way back home, and Corine took me to town to help me with my shopping. This is a very unusual treatment, and just shows how special this place and people are. I strongly recommend this place.
