Reviewed By mir-slava05The room was clean, tidy in moder but at the same time rustic style. Beds were comfy kids had bunk bed and loved it. Shower good with constant hot water. Location is perfect. Not to close to main busy street with bars and restaurants. Will take around 10 min to walk there. The same as for nine arch Bridge or Ravana flying club, however tuk tuk will help to reach those places. Breakfast was good enough, fresh and tasty. Thank you for pleasant stay.

Reviewed By IzziG4We stayed here for a 3 night stop in Ella and would highly recommend. The hotel rooms were clean, modern and serviced well. Location was fantastic to walk into Ella and also up to Little Adam’s peak. Stand out for us was breakfast - huge portions of authentic Sri Lankan food and fresh eggs served by the wonderful Mano. Mano was super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We’ll be back soon!

Great base for Ella at a good price
Reviewed By LochNessMonster1968A great little home stay with incredible views and a lovely breakfast. The host was wonderful and can run you in to town with their tuk tuk which made life easier. It was a real treat sitting on the balcony with a cup of morning tea watching the squirrels and chipmunks whilst taking in the breathtaking views. A perfect base for Ella at a great price.

One of the best view in Ella
Reviewed By Shan1508We arrived because we read the good words other review wrote on Prasanna, and every word was true. Prasanna make everything looks different, he is one of the most generous and nice person we meet. He try the best to make our time in Ella to be perfect. The view was amazing, every morning the sound of the waterfall, the animals around make me feel like I'm in the best place on Earth. There is 20 minutes walking to the center of Ella, it's beautiful landscape but it's not easy to walk it. Nil the tuk tuk guy how live next to the hostel can take you anytime. The room have few problems, it's to small for family, the beds taking all the space, the floor leave red color so each time after shower, our fit turn to red. At evening, all the bugs are all over so you have to close the door fast but then the room become very stuffy.. We had problems with the Wi-Fi, Prasanna help us but the owner need to fix it. I hope the owner will work on all the negatives points. I recommend this place for people how enjoy the silence and not scared from bugs. I wanted to write 5 stars for Prasanna but the place have to many problems.

Reviewed By Niina-MariTop Heaven is a lovely guest house, within short walk from town center. The guest house is located on a beautiful hill with amazing views. The room is basic and clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was included in price and was delicious and different every day. The guest house was run by a lovely family. They were very friendly and helpful and they even made us a take away breakfast bag when we had to leave before the breakfast. We were supposed to stay couple of days but ended up staying for a week. Excellent value for money!

Reviewed By Dip1986Poomaz Peace Palace is exactly that. Pooma was very attentive to all of our needs and that of our two year old son. The room was large, very clean and the bathroom had running hot water throughout our 3 night stay. The room also had a shared balcony which had an incredible view of Little Adam's Peak. Breakfast was varied each day and was delicious. Poomaz place is just a few minutes from the main street where most of the restaurants and bars are located but in a peaceful location. We would definitely stay again if we visit Ella again.

Incredible value for money!
Reviewed By RHIx2Just a gem of a B&B just a short walk away from Ella centre. The owner is such a lovely and helpful lady and the place is kept very clean and welcoming! We had a 4 person room as travelling two friends with two daughters. Felt very warm and safe for an all girls group and the owner had lots of friendly advise on what to do and see in Ella. The place really is great value for money and we recommend that you buy the Sri Lanka breakfast and dinner whilst there! As of the political situation of Sri Lanka at the moment, we highly recommend that you ignore this and travel anyway! We travelled around for two weeks mid protests and petrol crisis and our trip was not in any way disrupted nor did we feel unsafe at any point in time. The protests are mainly near government buildings and are visited by families with kids, monks and students alike and does not target tourists who contribute so greatly to the Sri Lankan economy. Now more than ever, the Sri Lankan people needs us to visit so they can recover after the pandemic. Go and enjoy one of the most beautiful islands in the world which has so much to offer in terms of nature, culture, history, religious sites, smiley people and great food!
