Much of northern Spain belongs to Castile-Leon, an autonomous region surrounded by mountains. Architectural gems like the Romanesque stonework of Segovia's city walls, the Gothic Burgos Cathedral and the dramatic Baroque square in Salamanca are complemented by the area's natural beauty. Parque Natural de las Hoces del Rio Duraton is marked with deep gorges and shelters many birds of prey, while Parque Natural del Lago de Sanabria y alrededores contains the largest glacier lagoon on the Iberian Peninsula.

Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel & Organic Farm is situated just 10 minutes from the historic city of Salamanca, surrounded by countryside and vineyards. It was an ancient Dominican monastery of the 14th century, located on the river Tormes. Its history dates back to 1366. It was here that Christopher Columbus convinced the Catholic Kings to provide him with the necessary financial support to realize their dream, discover the New World. Our guests can enjoy the traditional hospitality lived on ‘haciendas’, providing them with absolute relaxation. Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel & Organic Farm has 40 rooms, suites and villas, all of them have or river views or overlooking the vineyards. It is a perfect combination of tradition and modernity. Villamayor stone, its ancient trees, the collection of Provencal lockers of the 16th century and religious works of art are fused together with contemporary paintings and modern facilities thus creating an timeless environment. During the stay, they can delight their palates with our own wines and products, 100% natural oils such as extra virgin olive oil, cheese and Iberian; and they are all limited productions. This place with its own personality has many hidden nooks and crannies to explore. Enjoy the experience 'To Live-To Love by Hacienda Zorita' and discover an authentic and unique experience. Our guests can enjoy a personalized service, which will make the stay unique and unforgettable. We always offer a simple and sophisticated service. Luxury is in simplicity!
Only one word to describe the location of this Hacienda and that is idyllic. Set on the banks of a river, all you can hear is bird song. The place has history going back centuries and a connection with Christopher Columbus worth finding out about. We stayed in a lovely suite, overlooking the river. Room had a mezzanine level with the bed (which was huge) part of the bedroom, and two full sized bathrooms. The staff (reception, bar, restaurant and spa) get a big ten out of ten for attentive and very friendly service. The wine tasting was informative and took place in a very impressive wine cellar. The place is rural so a car is essential, and it is a good 2.5 hour drive from Madrid airport. Overall I would sore this 9.7 out of 10. For the remaining 0.3 I'd like to see slightly more outdoor sitting / lounging options for hotel guests, one or two more cosmopolitan food options on the restaurant / bar menu and an outside jacuzzi.

Our inn is a 17th century building belonging to the Barons of Pernia, a region in which our hotel is located. Endowed with the best comforts and maintaining the essence of its architecture, they make our inn a luxury rural hotel. Located in the Natural Park of Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente del Cobre, it situates us in an environment totally surrounded by nature from where you can enjoy routes with or without a guide as there are a thousand possibilities. Palencia and more specifically the mountain of Palencia is possibly the area with the highest concentration of Romanesque art in Spain. Our rooms are cozy and kept to the smallest detail will make you feel at home. The gastronomy of the hotel is typical of Castile and Leon and more specifically of the mountain, that is to say, traditional cuisine and of mountain flavor so that our visitors can perceive the flavor of our lands. A wonderful garden to enjoy its views and enclave surrounded by nature.
This is a typical country inn up in the mountains of Palencia. It seems to be run by a family. You get a warm welcome and there is a lift up to the higher floor, which is welcome when you are an over-packer like me, speaking of which, hiking clothes are the order of the day here. Leave your tiara at home! Everything is spotless, plenty of COVID measures. Rooms are perfectly clean and nicely appointed. Bathroom spotless. Beds comfy. The restaurant serves massive plates of hearty mountain food. They are proud of their local food and you will come out of the restaurant stuffed. They are also dog friendly, although we didn't have a dog with us. One poor guest took his pooch out for a wee at 5 am and couldn't get back in so he had to sleep in his car! Quite a chilly area, although it's warm inside. It was roasting everywhere else in Spain and it was pretty cold there in Camasobres. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Hostal (budget Hotel)
The Factory Residence is very close to the UNESCO Aqueduct of Segovia. You can also walk around the entire old-town at the river basin which allows you to see the Alcazar from below...truly amazing. The hotel is clean and has everything you may need. I have stayed with them several times and will go back for sure.

La dona es muy desagradable. Fue muy mal educada con nosostros, mismo sabendo que somos extranjeros y veniamos de lejos. No lo recomendo. Really rude owner! Even knowing that we are foreign and come for far away. I don't recomende this house at all!

Easy to find, comfortable enough hotel in the centre of Burgos. Rooms well-equipped and comfortable, though none of the rooms on the first floor had air-con - it was 39C at the time, so a bit of an issue. Rooms at the front, overlooking the street, can be noisy at night. Breakfasts okay, probably better than many Spanish hotels, to be fair. Helpful staff, who seemed to speak multiple langauges.

They stole my money. I made a reservation with choice of payment over the counter and free cancellation, however they took the money from my credit card. I had to cancel in August and to date they still haven't returned the money. I call there and they say they don't speak English and ask to send me an email. already send more than 10 emails and don't even bother to reply. Avoid this hotel...

We were not expecting much for the low price. We were able to easily park. The room had a great shower and amenities. The bed was too hard for me . Reception is bit awkward you must ring bell to get in. It was super super clean

Edificio al lado de la Catedral de León, de 6 lujosos apartamentos.
Great spot for visiting the old city of Leon. Hard against the cathedral wall, and handily placed to enable leisurely exploration of the lanes and alleys. Well equipped kitchen including a washing machine - often useful to the sweaty traveller - and luxurious living/dining arrangements. The management was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and other staff delightful. A recommend.
