Great location with nice music and good food.....but terrible service!!
Reviewed By Companion272178Rarely in my life I’ve found places where you can have 2 extreme opposite experiences in the same place. The location is great, the terrace on top with the breeze of sea at night it’s refreshing in the hot and humid city, the menu’ and the grill are really delicious and prices are fair for the food and quite convenient for the rooms. The owner tried his best to keep the level high and was quite friendly. So why every single time I’ve managed to get frustrated after every single service , either breakfast or dinner?? The worst service ever in my life, especially the waitress in the morning, she managed to made mistake with my simple order for 6 days in a row, despite I was ordering always the same things and every time I was trying to explain her what was wrong....hopeless. I want to believe it’s partially due to the fact they don’t understand English.....but it’s hard to believe after repeating the same mistakes 5/6 times.

A gem of a place!!
Reviewed By SueDC2019We came to this hotel when it was a boiling hot day and it was so hot you would have melted. Unbelievably hot. We had a beautiful meal in their huge cafe and then we rested under the trees. The breeze was hot too!! The owner is an amazingly generous man!! He let us use their room gratis because I suddenly felt light headed. He was so good to us. So friendly and approachable. He runs an amazing operation and it’s a very clean and impeccable place. Rooms were fabulous and the bathroom was spotless. Their swimming pool is worth it’s weight in gold. So go and say hello and have a lovely “Beninese” meal and see many of the smaller animals wander around. And do say hello.

Situé en plein cœur de la ville de Parakou, au bord de la route inter état N°2, KOBOUROU CITY HOTEL est un complexe hôtelier qui allie le charme de l'hospitalité Africaine à la sophistication du confort occidental. L'hôtel compte vingt neuf (29) chambres toutes climatisées et couvertes par une connexion internet wifi haut débit. L'accès à la piscine est gratuit pour les clients ainsi que la navette de déplacement vers les aéroports et gares voisins.
Confortable, spacieux mais peu calme
Reviewed By adrien mSitué en bordure d'une grande route très passante, l'hôtel subi un peu le bruit des véhicules, poids lourds et klaxons réguliers y compris la nuit. Les chambres sont néanmoins spacieuses et confortables.

Reviewed By ibgulluOne of the worst hotel experiences of my life, the hotel is old, the rooms are dirty, the ac is not working, the fly nets are not doing any job because they are all broken, stay in a street, or sleep in a car will be more comfortable.

Reviewed By Africhika_This place is so charming. Super clean. The staff is very friendly. Nice bathroom. The fixtures are solid and well built. I really enjoyed my stay here. It's a simple, calm place with a artsy, relaxed vibe. The courtyard garden is beautiful. The food.... not very good! It's basic, needs flavor, like salt and pepper! But the fresh pineapple juice....?

Reviewed By captaincastaNous avons eu la chance de pouvoir déjeuner dans cet hotel-restaurant dès notre arrivée sur Cotonou. L’établissement est magnifique, le cadre idyllique, la nourriture excellente et le service digne d’un restaurant français étoilé. Nous sommes repartis comblés.
