Australia is as varied as it is enormous-- it is home to thriving cities, vast wilderness, and earnest, friendly people. Sydney is for sophisticates, with its famous opera house and annual Sculpture By the Sea outdoor art exhibits. Port Douglas makes a great base for snorkeling or diving the Great Barrier Reef, and quaint lighthouses keep vigil along the beaches of Byron Bay. Melbourne is a hub of rousing cricket activity, and the limestone pillars of the Pinnacles Desert are a natural wonder.

Our stay in one of the tents was absolutely tranquil, relaxing, super private and devine. Can’t recommend this stay highly enough. Best venue I’ve ever stayed in to date. Just one watch out, make sure you book some form of transport back from town ahead of time. Reception at this venue can sort it fir you. Broome’s availability of transport after 930pm is semi nonexistent.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Armour, the host Fiona was very helpful on arrival with some good dinner and daytime activity suggestions. The room was very clean, the shower hot and the bed very comfortable. After having had snow that morning we knew it was going to be cold, but good heating and electric blankets solved that issue. The hotel is on the edge of the town with all restaurants and shops just a couple of minutes walk. Highly recommend this one.

I was a little disappointed when we checked in as I was expecting more resort-like accommodation. Our room was a basic bedroom with tiny kitchenette and regular bathroom, with a spa in the balcony (which we didn’t use). There was nowhere to sit other than the bed and balcony chairs. We opted not to pay extra for daily housekeeping which was a mistake on our part, as there was soon a build up of sand from Four Mile Beach which inevitably found its way into the bed. I tried to clean it off our balcony with the dustpan and brush I found in the room. I like to avoid housework when I’m on holiday but found myself cleaning, emptying the rubbish, making the bed etc. although to be fair, there was an extreme staff shortage at the time of our visit. The bed was uncomfortable and I didn’t sleep very well. There was only a single sheet provided, which wasn’t enough. I’d have liked easier access to clean towels too, or some dropped off to our room. I couldn’t fault the location though…a short stroll to the beach and shops which was great..we could pop out to the Night Owl convenience store, or grab an ice-cream. We went to Little Larder for breakfast, just a few minutes walk away. We didn’t use the pools, preferring the beach.

The Pod Sydney is Sydney’s newest stylish capsule hotel truly in the center of Sydney CBD. We are inspired by modern and minimalistic living concept with the industrial interior design. As opposed to luxury hotels in Sydney CBD, we are providing clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation without price of a hotel.
We were a party of 6 , from 14yrs to 76yrs, looking for accommodation in Sydney for Vivid, when I found The Pod. It sounded quirky and a bit of fun. We were not disappointed. The room was clean and featured 6 bunk beds. The beds were comfortable and each space was private with a curtain closing off the bed area from the room. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. My children loved the sleeping pods and each chose a top bunk! Leaving the older of us to not have to climb the ladders to the top!! It was just an easy place to stay. Good value for money, clean, friendly and a great location! Great location, great place to stay

After making a non-changeable booking and pre-paying for it several weeks in advance we received a message the evening before our arrival requesting that we call them. Our call at 7:45am was met by a grumpy "You woke us up!" and we were told they could not accommodate us because of a maintenance problem. They said they would send us an email with similar properties and I requested that they notify the agent we booked through so that we would not be charged as a no-show. They promptly hung up on us and did not send the promised email. The booking agent told us that they had overbooked!

Just 25-minutes from Hobart CBD and at the entrance to Richmond historic village - Prospect House specializes in special occasion stays, intimate events and group-getaways including exclusive use. The onsite restaurant is open to both staying and non-staying guests for dinner and breakfast throughout the year. All room rates are inclusive of arrival sparkling wine, afternoon tea and cooked and continental breakfast each day.
Travelling around the Eastern part of Tasmania with some girlfriends for a holiday, Prospect House was by far our stand out accomodation. Absolutely beautiful, boutique location with exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything we needed (and some things we didn't even know we wanted) was looked after. Exceptional. Beautiful rooms which were heated to welcome us, outdoor fire for drinks before dinner, great food, wines - could not recommend highly enough. Thank you so much

Beautiful elevated property in the heart of the grape growing district of Pokolbin with fabulous views of the surrounding vineyards and the Brokenback mountain range.Quietly tucked away yet so close to all the very best that the wine region has to offer including only minutes to 4 world class golf courses.Recently refurbished and upgraded hotel style rooms are very comfortable with everything you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable with large glass french doors opening out onto your private veranda and perfectly framing the stunning vista. The separate loft/villa cottage provides a luxurious space with full amenities. The views from here are also fantastic with doors that open out onto the garden and courtyard area. Our small table grape vineyard and our neighbours extra large Chardonnay & Shiraz vineyard and farm animals complete the picture. The salt water swimming pool along side the BBQ area and the guest pavilion provides a refreshing end to a day out amongst the many cellar doors, restaurants, cafes, gardens etc during the summer months. The pavilion is the perfect place to relax and watch the sun go down.
We booked for 2 nights stay in a Studio cottage for three persons. Cottage is beautifully set with a balcony that opens into the greeneries. There is a loft with a large double bed and a single bed on the lower floor. Room is clean, comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen. It is set in a good location for drivers, as it is a short drive to both Cessnock and Pokolbin towns and to various cellar doors. We encountered an unexpected storm and blackout on our second night. The host was quick to reassure the guests and to ensure our safety and well being, walking in the strong wind and rain with blankets to keep us warm and parceling out battery operated candles, and checking in on us periodically. Luckily, the storm blew over quickly and lights were restored soon after. Definitely a memorable stay, for the beautiful cottage, views and great hospitality.
