We very much enjoyed a superb Monday afternoon at this spa which appears to have been recently refurbished. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and runs very efficiently. A weekday afternoon visit was in crowded though not too quiet. No queues when we arrived and ample room in the saunas even for the herbal infusion sessions. Combined ticket for 3 hours in the salt bath and sauna areas ( textilefrei ) €19. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra hour. The smart wrist band system allows you not only access to the facility via turnstiles, but can also be used for buying refreshments. It also allows you to lock and unlock the lockers for your clothing. Use the wide part of the band to push the locker button and hey presto! You pay for extras when surrendering the wrist band as you leave ; including any extra time - charged in 20 minute aliquots at €1. The salt bath pools offer a range of temperatures indoors and the outdoor pool features a pumped whirlpool effects as well as jacuzzi bench and water jets. Cossies required here. Through the turnstile, in the Sauna area you can enjoy various indoor and outdoor saunas of graded temperatures as well as plunge and indoor and outdoor pools. No need for clothing here which is wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor log cabin saunas which have timetabled herbal infusions added by an attendant who wafts the aromatic steam around using a towel. Afterwards a dip in the pool supplied from a spring is just the thing. You get a drink of fruit juice or ice lolly too. Plenty of loungers indoors and out to relax on. We were lucky to have a sunny afternoon in June for our visit so came away not only relaxed, but more bronzed. Other people we know have visited in winter have enjoyed a cool down with snow. Top tips. Weekday afternoons likely to be less busy. Remember to get your car park card validated as you go in and keep it safe to use on exit. Book for both Spa & Saunapark ticket. Use your wrist band for clothes lockers (use to push the button) as well as buying refreshments and for the turnstiles. Take your own towel +/- robe. You will need swimmers for the salt bath area, but may discard these for Saunaland. You can use a wicker basket on the glass shelf matrices to leave unwanted stuff. Do use a locker though as you go in for valuables and street clothes. A bottle of water might be sensible too though refreshments from the Café are very good. We took books to read though left them unopened and sunhats-unworn. Discard life's concerns together with your clothes for a rejuvenating few hours.
