The spa was very well appointed and very relaxing. The staff were extremely professional and courteous -- they were truly genuine and not rehearsed and that really made us feel very comfortable and enjoy the experience even more.

I booked the “True Bliss Romantic Retreat” for a gift to my wife when we visited the Belhurst Castle and Vineyard. Kathy and Mollie were fantastic, professional and put relaxation a top priority. The rooms were very nice, clean and enjoyable. With our busy lives, it was nice to disconnect for 100 minutes to focus on us. We are looking forward to do it again in the future. Thank you.

This sanctuary will sweep you away from the stress and worries of the world with the indulgence of personal space and timelessness. Here you will find an attentive blending of traditional Eastern therapies with Western knowledge. A haven for the senses, the spa is a fusion where East meets West.
My husband got me a gift voucher to August Moon Spa for Christmas and I couldn’t have been happier. Today was my first visit to this spa and it surely will not be my last. I was greeted by a friendly women who gave me a robe and slides and then showed me around the spa. I start the spa treatment with a 60 minute massage by Lisa. The pressure was prefect and the massage was great! I had 15 minutes before my facial which I spent in the relaxation room with a fireplace. I enjoyed a cup of tea while lounging in front of the fireplace. Salamar was my esthetician. She was amazing! I have had several facials in my life and this one was one of the best I have ever had. She also waxed my eyebrows which I’m very happy with. My time spent at August Moon was very relaxing and I enjoyed every minute of it. I can’t wait to go back for another morning of pampering.

I reviewed the Mirbeau Inn separately. Here is my review of the spa. Contrary to some of the other reviews we read here everything was topnotch at the Mirbea Spa. My husband and I have stayed at a wonderful destination spa in PA; although Mirbeau is not quite to that level that is not what we were expecting. This is not what I would consider a destination spa but a beautiful inn with a lovely spa. Our spa experience was most enjoyable. The outside hot tub was large and there were never too many people in it. There is also bar service and a fireplace. There were definitely a good amount of guests at the spa but it was not at all overcrowded. Inside at the quiet area there is a large pool where you can soak your feet and the most comfortable recliners to lounge in while you wait for a service or just relax. There were a couple of women who did not seem to read or heed the "no talking" sign in the quiet room but I find that to be typical and it was nothing overwhelming. We both had deep tissue massages and I can personally vouch for Lesya. She was amazing and I highly recommend her. It was definitely a deep tissue massage. She asked if the pressure was OK and it was. I like a massage that really gets in there and addresses the knots and kinks in my shoulders and this massage did. I am sure if you wanted less pressure she would be able to offer that as well. The spa staff were incredibly friendly and seemed to sincerely care about our experience. It is unfortunate that (based on other reviews) some guests have experienced loud groups that distracted from their enjoyment. Based on my visit I can only find good things to say about the staff and facility. I think they would do their best to make sure that each guest has a quality stay.
