Here’s your day in Calistoga: Yoga. Massage. Spa lunch. Hike. Wine-tasting. Facial. Mud bath. Gourmet dinner (with more wine). Dip in a mineral pool. Does it get more relaxing than a spa town built around natural springs in the middle of wine country? We don't think so.

My husband and I went in for the "tip to toe " treatment and had a wonderful experience. We started with a soak in the mineral pool and jaccuzi. Then drank tea in the nice relaxation area. I had Joy as my massage therapist and she was terrific! The treatment was unique and very enjoyable. After our treatment we used the Himalayan salt sauna. The changing room was secure and had everything you would need. Overall great experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

My name is Ron Rose. I offer you a unique style of massage. I have trained extensively at Esalen Institute as an Esalen Massage Therapist as well as Deep Body Work, Cranial Sacral and Somatic Therapy; enhancing awareness, relieving stress and working with traumatic patterns. I integrate this with traditional Hawaiian LomiLomi bodywork healing learned from a couple of Hawaiian bodywork masters.

Health and wellness are at the heart of the Solage Napa Valley Resort experience. Artfully designed and ecologically conscious, Spa Solage offers relaxing and invigorating services, including new twists on the renowned Calistoga mud and mineral water therapies.
For a long overdue spa day, and my first massage in about a year (thanks covid!), I could not have been more exquisitely blissed out and grateful to spend a sunny, restorative afternoon at Spa Solage. Floating in the quiet bathhouse pools was a lovely first course in relaxation, and spa staff are topnotch welcoming, helpful and gracious. My deep tissue massage by Nayeli was extraordinary. It’s a gift to be under her strong, skilled and caring hands as she found and deftly dispatched all my tension knots. There are many superb massage therapists in our spa town who really know their craft and love their work. She’s among the very best, and makes this five star luxury resort shine.

This Napa Valley landmark soothes visitors through mud baths, steam rooms, massages and more. For 64 years and still family owned and managed, a visit to one of the few remaining family ventures is old school and good...We are real!
I haven’t had a massage in a long time and decided to get one on my solo trip to Calistoga. My masseuse was Jonathan and I highly recommend. He was attentive and asked appropriate questions. I left feeling relaxed and reenergised!

The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors.
We stayed for one night and so enjoyed our time. The resort is beautiful with all of the updates. Our room was a comfy as a 5 star hotel. The bedding is top notch and bed was just the right amount of softness and hardness. The room has a fully stocked kitchen (utensils, pots, pans, silverware, glasses - even wine glasses, and a wine opener!). There is a two burner cooktop, and a nice apartment sized refrigerator. They even supplied dish soap and sponges. (But bring your own napkins or paper towels.) Outside of our room there is a lovely picnic area with lots of 4 person square tables, large umbrellas, and BBQ. Bring your own meal and BBQ outside near the pools. Next, the all of the lovely pools. They were clean and well maintained. There were lots of chaise recliners, umbrellas, and regular chairs all over. They looked brand new and were super comfy. We were given two large bath towels when we checked in to use at the pool. Not to worry, there were a bunch of lovely white towels in the bathroom also. We brought our plastic wine glasses to the pool area and sat and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere there. We felt like we were in Italy or somewhere in the mediterranean. The view from the pool area to the surrounding hills is spectaular. All of the vegetation surrounding the pool has recently been updated. Its really very pretty! Everyone at the desk was very helpful and kind. We also enjoyed a mud and mineral bath along with a massage. We've been to a few other mud baths at Calistoga and the place here is very new and nicely laid out. The women's locker room is very luxurious. Large white bathrobes and nice slippers were provided along with a combo private locker. We also used their steam shower which is new. We can't wait to come again.

We booked at the resort based on recommendations from friends and found they were correct about how nice the facilities were. We booked a room (unit five) looking out over the fountain area which was so nice when just sitting on the balcony in the evening. The resort is not just for couples as it has things for kids as well. There are bicycles to ride, bocci ball, shuffleboard, and a couple other games which I don’t recall what they’re called. The room was spacious and the shower was enormous. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. If there was any downside to the resort it’s that you can hear people leave their rooms early in the mornings or returning late at night. However, this does not over shadow the other items offered at this resort. Another huge plus are the heated pools that are open until midnight. We certainly enjoyed going to the pool in the evenings and relaxing. There are two pools one that is for anyone and one for adults only. At the pool there is a bar where drinks and food can be obtained during the day. Of course the resort offers a full compliment of spa treatments from mud baths to massages. Overall, we would highly recommend this resort.
