Known for its restorative wonders, Bath was once the home of Jane Austen. Sure, you could attempt to conjure up this elegant city by reading Pride and Prejudice in your tub, but as Bath has a lot more history than your bathroom (we assume, anyway) you'd be missing out. A stroll through Bath is like visiting an open-air museum, with roughly 5,000 buildings in the city drawing notice for their architectural merit. After your stroll, soak in the natural hot waters of the Thermae Bath Spa, once a favorite of the Celts and Romans.

Take a sensory journey with one of our body and mind altering treatments.
What an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in store I felt welcomed, all the staff were so lovely. The spa experience itself was amazing, the environment, the ambience, the music, the treatment - I couldn't have faulted it. Thank you Ebony and team. :-)

Nigel gave a great massage, he was excellent in finding the points that I needed to work on and happy to advise me on self massage at home. I have noticed improvements in my back since, and am very appreciative of both the massage and his generous advice.

We have just finished a weekend stay at the Gainsborough. Every thing from start to finish at this hotel has been five star. The service throughout has been friendly, helpful and welcoming. The housekeeping staff were attentive and flexible and maintained the room Perfectly each night. The spa is beautiful and on all occasion practically empty. Note for weekends guests can use the spa from 7-10pm and 6-10pm which was more than sufficient when out and about most of the day time. The breakfast was excellent (if a tiny bit slow) and the accommodation itself was beautiful. Without doubt this hotel has to have the best location in bath and I highly recommend.

Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. Highlights include the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, the multi-sensory Wellness Suite and a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages.
Love love love this spa!! Worth the visit for 2 floors of pools, a rooftop with an amazing view of BATH, England, plus an underground mineral pool with a massage jet and lazy river and 4 different types of aromatic rooms!.. touristy place but for all the amenities who cares!..
