Raulandsfjell Alpinsenter

Raulandsfjell Alpinsenter in Raulandsgrend has 2 lifts, 7 slopes and lies between 700 and 1065 m.a.s.l. Total piste length: 5,4 km. 2 blue, 2 red and 3 black slopes. Off-piste: Yes. Chair lift: No. Snowboard: Yes. Raulandsfjell Alpinsenter has two ski lifts, and the largest height difference is 365 metres. Choose from six slopes ranging from 200 to 2100 metres in length. Excellent conditions for skiers who like to build up some speed! Raulandsfjell has cleared a number of off-piste slopes. Raulandsfjell Alpinsenter has ski hire, ski school and can produce artificial snow. The children's slope has a marked alpine skiing run, moguls and jumps. If you need a break from skiing, Raulandsfjell can amongst others offer soccer games on TV and a ski shop selling equipment and clothes. Inside by the fire place is a good place to relax in between skiing sessions. The cafè/restaurant at Raulandsfjell serves excellent meals. We also offer a mid week buffet on Wednesday and a pizza buffet on Fridays. After ski every Saturday from 15-20 in Turegut Evening skiing Monday and Friday 18:00-21:00 throughout the season. Evening lift pass: Adults NOK 180, youths 7-15 NOK 140. We also arrange courses in kiting for those seeking adventures outside the ski slopes.

Vradal Skisenter boasts a chairlift and in addition 4 lifts. 15 km slopes. Separate downhill slope. Skiing school, ski shop, hire of skis, and snowboards, snowboard park, 2 resturants, and lots of new cabins and apartments are beeing built at the moment! Vradal features Telemark's biggest snow cannon facilities!

Krossobanen

The Ryesvei is an exciting zig-zag path located in the terrain below the Krossobanen Cableway. This outstanding track is open for sledgeriding. The distance from the upper station Gvepseborg down to Krosso is 3851 meters, the difference in altitude approx. 500 meters and it winds down through a total of 21 curves. This makes it the longest sledge-hill (with lift) in Norway.

Fun ride in the Blueberry. Great views. Nice and expensive waffle in the top restaurant. Would have walked down if I had good shoes. Nice hike.

Gaustabanen

Gaustabanen, the cable car inside Gaustatoppen mountain has been a well-kept secret. Gaustabanen consists of a battery driven car on a cable that carries passengers approximately 860 metres horizontally up inside the mountain. Right in the centre of the mountain there is a station, with an angled shuttle line of 1040 metres that rises to 1800 metres above sea level. From the top, there is an exit to the so-called Tuddalstippen, situated right under the Gaustatoppen Tourist Cabin.

At Gausta Skisenter in the heart of Telemark you can experience alpine skiing in the mountains where it was born. Without compromises and long queues to the lifts. With 35 slopes, three children areas, two snow parks and challenging off-piste opportunities Gausta offers something for skiers at all levels. The lift system stretches from Vatnedalen via Gaustablikk, Hovdestaul and the slopes of Gaustatopen.
