Honorio wanted to make a hiking tour with me and 3 of my friends. He asked for some money in advance (250000RFr) which we gave him as we already knew this process from different activities before. Unfortunately he just took our money and never came to our appointement. He didn´t answer our texts and calls. He vanished and after 2 days he contacted us and told us some bizzar stories about some family matters. Be aware, that he is a liar. His website turnt out to be fake, as we went to the RDB to get our money back. Because he isn´t registered officially you wouldn´t get your money back. Afterwards we wrote an review via Facebook too , where he responsed directly that we called him bad things. He called us racists, as an excuse to make the review worthless. So beaware

I was a little anxious about doing this trip alone but everyone was so friendly and I had so much fun. I opted to go snorkelling with a member of the boat crew. We were out for almost an hour and I saw the most amazing marine l upife. We were lucky enough to see some dolphins, although not for long. Lunch on Wasini Island was really good, plenty of food and the service was great. My overnight stay at Shimoni Reef Lodge was just perfect, the staff went out of their way to welcome me and make my stay memorable. The food was wonderful. I took the opportunity to visit the slave caves and was escorted there personally by Nyinge who worked at the Lodge, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a unique two day experience

With three extra days in Namibia, I decided to include a quick trip to Etosha. I struggled to find a company that was still operational, and met my needs. Then I chatted with Megan, representative with Across Africa. I quickly knew she was actually interested in helping. Her sincerity, honesty, humanity and dedication were recognized immediately, and I knew that I didn’t need to search further. She set up my trip with no hidden BS, made an effort to meet all my needs, and did all of it promptly, professionally, and graciously. My trip turned out perfectly down to the last detail. I credit Megan and my guide Steve for making my quick visit to Etosha unforgettable. Because of them I will use Across Africa in the future and suggest to others that they do the same!

In February, I had the opportunity to travel around Uganda with Safari 2 Gorilla Tours Ltd. Great impression and great experience. We drove across the country from Kidepo Valley Park in the north to Mgahinga Park on the southern tip of Uganda- a unique opportunity to see mountain gorillas. Excellent tour guides Martin and Barnice- professional and enthusiastic. Thanks to them I learned a lot and, above all, I spent an amazing and unforgettable time in beautiful Uganda. A group of friends and I visit an African country each year. Kigali was our pit stop for October 2019 and we needed a tour company to provide us with a tailored package that included navigating the popular tourist sites and getting to see the real Kigali! Liz and her business partner Claudine did not disappoint; their professional approach was second to none and we received great recommendations re tourist sites to visit, restaurants to eat and coffee shops/ bars to chill. Our own dedicated tour guides and coach service made getting around easy. Our first stop was the Akagera National Park followed by visits to the Genocide Memorial and Parliament Museums. A sumptuous lunch at the Hotel des Mille Collines aka "Hotel Rwanda" followed by individual visits to local markets and galleries followed. Our evening ended with a Kigali bar-crawl! An amazing road trip at the crack of dawn to Rwesero to enjoy the lake Muhazi and King Fish Beach Resort kicked off our 2nd day! The scenery was as good as the food! To top it off a bonfire was organised where we chilled appreciated the nature! The night ended with an amazing rooftop reception in Kigali while we rounded up our city tour on the last day and spent the final evening at the renown Piri-Piri spot. I would highly recommend Phonenix Travel & Tours as they showed a deep knowledge of the entire landscape and definitely provided a rounded experience for us. One thing the group unanimously agreed on was that a second visit was necessary!
