Tiraspol (Russian: Тирасполь [tʲɪˈraspəlʲ]; Ukrainian: Тираспіль [tɪˈrɑspilʲ]) is internationally recognised as the second largest city in Moldova, but is effectively the capital and administrative centre of the unrecognised Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (Transnistria). The city is located on the eastern bank of the Dniester River. Tiraspol is a regional hub of light industry, such as furniture and electrical goods production.

I was on a tour to Milestii Mici and I found that it is quite easy on my own (unless you actually visit the winery, where you are assigned a guide). The tour is very fast and simple, because I wanted to find out more and see the actual process of wine production (how to harvest, where to store, how to turn into wine, how to store, how to bottle in bottles). at the outlet is a store where you can find good wines at low prices ...

Wine is part of this nation’s culture and if someone came to Romania and would not taste our wines, it would be like looking at a church from the outside and not going inside! During this tour you will meet, feel and taste the wines of the most famous wine regions in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, which was split in two parts after World War II, one is the Romanian region of Moldova, the other one being the Old Bessarabia, nowadays known as the Republic of Moldova. But both regions are linked through their famous and good wines! We will start this adventure with a Moldovan wines tasting.

The company I work for hires Ways.md every time we want to organize a trip. We had multiple trips: Transnistria Trip (a country that doesn't exist), Gagauzia Trip/South of Moldova (including the only colhoz still acting in Moldova), Iasi trip (Romania), Chisinau City one day walking tour, and these trips were at the highest level. As their customer you won't have to worry about anything. They provide absolutely everything: transportation, reservation, tour guide, lunches, overnight staying. They will pick you up from the hotel and will bring you back with a lot of positive impressions and emotions. They are flexible to your request, if you want a personalized trip, they will adjust it to your interests and budget. Their tour guides speak very good English, Romanian, Russian and other. The transportation they provide for the trips are always clean modern and comfortable. Everything according to the number of guests. Without doubts I recommend this company if you intend to visit Moldova or Romania.

A day tour through the country that doesn't exist by public transport and walking, offering you the most authentic experience of local life. The walking route is around 9-10km's which stretches in both Bender and Tiraspol city. Visiting the main sights, immersing yourself in history, having lunch at a soviet canteen, exploring the local market and transport helps you understand the situation in the autonomous state stuck in frozen conflict.

The Republic of Moldova was Soviet for almost 50 years and it has left its mark, one is Transnistria. And why not a trip to the pro-Russian separatist region of Transnistria? A small return to the USSR for a day, to say "I was there" .., to discover a territory without territory ... .., a country without a country ... The political situation is still complex today with Moldova, the tension is palpable but not dangerous for a foreign tourist. Visiting Transnistria is possible because it is not instinctively against tourism. Our agency organizes this trip with a mixture of discovery, pleasure of the palate and meeting with the soil. You will be able to discover the authentic aspects of a region still under a model that was thought to be out of date.

Great way to see two of the most interesting sites in Moldova. The Curchi monastery was beautiful, and the old Orhei village was beautiful. The authentic lunch at the ecolodge there was amazing as well. Friendly and professional driver. Definitely recommend!

I do postcards with my drawings and budget tours to top attractions and hidden gems of Transnistria. Honestly, I can’t make Maldives of my country, because it is not Maldives. But i can make an unforgettable journey through all contrasts of what it really is - beautiful panoramas and impressive soviet lost places, curious history and nowadays life in the country that doesn't exist, combining classic walk with forays for true explorers and adventurers. Full day tour takes eight hours default, though Transnistria deserves at least a week. It is not Stalinism, we are very volatile where to go and what to do, but default route covers must-see USSR era and modern bits of Tiraspol, Bendery and optionallly Kitskany, and my favorite nooks and crannies that I discovered doing my sketches. The trip wont be exhausting, not boring at all, we will have time to talk about all peculiarities of past and present of Transnistria, you won’t be meeting a guide, you will be meeting a friend!
Inclusions: Transport - trolley bus, marshrurka and optionally taxi. At first we support public transport., Postcard with my sketch of Transnistria, Fridge magnet for the memory, Set of plastic roubles of Transnistria
Exclusions: Menu depends on appetite so the lunch price is excluded. We pick the cafee upon agreement but I ll sketch best options, Transfer from Moldova or Ukraine. Transfer from Chishinau center is 15 euro. Airport pick 15$
I made with Anton a tour. First of all his english is impressive, while it is at general a bit difficult to find fluent english speakers in this region. Beside that, we visited an abandoned soviet factory, saw some beautiful mosaics and had a great talk about post soviet reality. Compared to a tour I made some years ago, it was a really awesome experience.
