Sofia Graffiti Tour was born out of a love for graffiti and street art, with the mission to take visitors of the capital off-the-beaten track, to experience the alternative atmosphere of Sofia, layered with stories and urban art. The initiative started over 3 years ago and we are the first to organize tours dedicated to the Sofia’s street art and graffiti scene. Since then we have taken thousands of travelers to the hidden corners of the city to explore together the urban art, its stories and dive into the graffiti subculture. By participating in the tour, you are also supporting the local graffiti, street and urban art scene of Sofia. Parts of our contributions are going directly to the events that we organize – Exhibitions and Workshops, annual Sofia Graffiti Battle festival and local initiative, improving the urban space. Join us on an alternative adventure that will make you look the city through the eyes of street artist.
Inclusions: Local guide, Graffiti art materials
Exclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off, Transportation to/from attractions
We went to some places I guarantee we would not have been able to find on our own. The event was well organized and it was interesting to see all the different kinds of people who came out. I really enjoyed chatting with some of the attendees and organizers while walking from bar to bar. My only critique (which is more personal than against the experience) was that everywhere we went was quite loud and crowded. We were hoping to find local pubs to sit and converse with new people. However everywhere we went was too loud to meet new people. We aren't big club people so this is probably more against us than them. We also had a very large group who seemed to enjoy the lively atmosphere.

To my knowledge Nikyata is the best tour guide in Pirin mountain. If you want to get into splitboarding, ski/snowboard turing or freeriding definitely go for it. Bulgarian mountains although quite beautiful can be dangerous especially without proper training/equipment/knowledge. The split mountain team, helped us find the tours for our level of riding and we hit some of the best lines of our lives, while feeling safe and in capable hands. 10/10 would recommend !

I really didn't know what to expect on this tour because Bulgaria is not a popular beer destination. Stella definitely surprised me! It seems that there are cool beer places and hidden breweries that I would not find by myself. Thanks Stella for the unexpected experience!

Teteven Balkan – one of the most beautiful parts of the Balkan Mountains – is situated very close to Sofia, it takes only an hour drive. Hidden forest paths lead to high ridges with spacious views – up there, where it’s easy to take a deep breath and where the eyes cannot get enough. But the pleasure is even greater when you enjoy this lovely nature riding on a horse back! Highlights: Glozhen Monastery Itinerary: We arrive at the village of Golyam Izvor. We meet the horses and get brief instructions. We saddle the horses and head along forest paths to the Ridge of Lisets Mountain, from where a splendid panorama view to Teteven Balkan is revealed. Riding through a century-old beech forest we approach Glozhen Monastery. Its impressive silhouette perched on an inaccessible rock is one of the most impressive sights in Bulgaria. After a short walk inside we return to Golyam Izvor. Drive back to Sofia. Riding: 4-5 hours Note: This tour is suitable both for beginners and experienced riders.
Inclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off, Local guide, Transport by air-conditioned minivan, Rent of a saddled horse and a helmet
Exclusions: Food and drinks, Personal expenses, Insurance
We did the 5 day trail in the Rodopi mountains with guide Lubo from Penguin Travel and it was amazing. Would recommend the tour to everyone. I didn’t have any horseback riding experience and Lubo did a great job of learning me everything about it at a very fast pace. It highly exceeded our expectations.
