We were very happy that we booked with Freshverde holidays. They are very helpful and dedicated to their work especially Ashutosh who handle all our suggestions. The driver was very nice and punctual. We learnt lots of things about Mauritius from Divesh. The crew on the boat were excellent - friendly, helpful and professional. There were plenty of places to sit in the sun or in the shade. We thought that the catamaran will be crowded with people but no. There was a maximum of 15 people on the catamaran which was very comfortable as it was not too crowded. We had an amazing snorkelling experience at Coin de mire island. We were provided with snorkelling equipments which give us a truly amazing experience. The swimming and snorkel spot were great. While we enjoyed the swimming our crew was busy to prepare a delicious meal us. If we come back to Mauritius we will book this trip again..But time on the boat was great, the lunch was delicious and there was plenty of salads as well as fish and chicken. There was a good selection of drinks and the punch was excellent. Thank you for this amazing experience and i would recommend this experience to every people travelling to Mauritius!

As Mauritius lovers, regularly visiting the Island, we opted to experience something very different this time. We experienced some of the facets of this Package with a stay in the Kaz‘trla in the Domaine Bel Ombre. It was a great experience. We had the opportunity to visit this Domain with its Château and picturesque and romantic scenery...beautiful moment. It was an opportunity for us to enjoy local food, lovely. The gâteau Piments and ti-pouri during our safari drive were a delight. My husband booked also a Golf lesson at the Heritage. We also enjoyed our overnight stay at the Chazal camping tent and gave some fun with its zipline. It was really a very special time for us. We will of course rebook such a Package which we strongly recommend. Many thanks for these wonderful moment.

This food tour is the perfect option for those who want to experience the local Port Louis life as well as go deeper into China Town, discovering its rich culture, its vivid street art, and fusional flavours. We will first visit Port Louis, taste its delicious street food, meet those that prepare it, and learn the history of the capital city of Mauritius. We will then enter the gates of China Town and feel like we're somewhere else. We will enjoy all the Mauritian street food classics like dholl puris or "boulettes", then we will also relish on some Chinese specialties with a Mauritian twist. We will also learn of the struggles of this neighbourhood and how it has managed to transform itself to become a hotspot of Chinese heritage, street art and delicious food. The revival of China Town is inspiring ; it brought families together and restored the sense of community.
Inclusions: Dishes served at our food stops, Street food tastings, Drinks offered at our food stops
Exclusions: Private transportation, Parking Fees
My husband and I are returning clients, we have already done 3 other food tours with Taste Buddies in the past. As usual, we enjoyed discovering some still unknown tastes of Mauritius in the company of Adrian and Dada and finished happy and wanting more! I sincerely recommend any of the street food tours offered by Taste Buddies, no matter if you are a local, a expat resident or a tourist. There is always something to discover by all.

Pick up upon our arrival went smoothly. The driver was on time and safe. The return, however, was a different story and not a way we wanted our lovely holiday to end. We requested a pick up that would have us at the airport two hours before our scheduled departure. We received word, after the driver was already 20 minutes late picking us up, that our driver would arrive momentarily, so we waited. And we waited, and we waited some more. Our hotel called the driver and was told he was in an accident and that a new driver would be arriving soon. This wasn't true as the original driver FINALLY showed up one hour and ten minutes late to take us to the airport. Again, our amazing hotel called the airlines and told them we were on our way. The airlines said they'd keep the desk open 15 minutes late for us (and they did). We literally JUST made our flight. It was an anxiety-filled, nerve-wracking and very upsetting one hour ride to the airport. The worst part is that there was no explanation from the driver or from John at Mauritius Booking as to why he was late and why they didn't inform us earlier, so that we could have used the hotel airport service or called a taxi. We paid in advance, but I would have paid another service for peace of mind. I don't like giving such a low rating, but the communication after this debacle was non-existent and frankly very, very disappointing.

This company were organised the transfers on arrival to Mauritius to our hotel resort. It was the most uncomfortable and sub standard transfer we have ever experienced. After a twelve hour flight from the UK we were packed to capacity in a small, old vehicle with no proper air conditioning, small uncomfortable seats and luggage separated only by an old net at the rear of the vehicle. We were then subjected to 45 plus minutes of poor driving in the most uncomfortable vehicle which in the UK would have been compared only to a builder's van. We complained to the rep on arrival at the resort and said we would not be prepared to make the return journey in the same circumstances. When I asked about an upgrade to private transfer I was given a price of 2,000 rupees, this was the same price as the taxi from the hotel. This was not an acceptable price given that we had already paid for a transfer and as we were not able to negotiate anything else with Mautorco, we booked a taxi. Extremely poor service and for that reason we did not even look at trips with this company. Certainly would not recommend.
