We spent a lovely afternoon at the Tower Estate, first touring the beautiful gardens with flowers and fruit trees -- avocado, mango, carambola -- and then the historic great house with lots of memorabilia from World Wars 1 and 2. Old photographs of the several generations of family. Very personal tour and interesting anecdotes by a family member. We also enjoyed afternoon tea on the veranda, a very pretty setting with cucumber sandwiches, chocolate and carrot cake muffins, and cake. The blue butterfly pea flower tea was tasty and pretty. If you are looking for a way to spend an afternoon that is not the typical beach holiday, this is a marvelous way to do it.

Unique experience, would be better for scuba divers but still neat to see. Lots of interesting sculptures. Tour was with Dive Grenada who picked us up at resort, provided good snorkeling equipment, comfortable boat ride out, and guidance around sculptures.

Busy harbor in St. George.
It's a harbour in the middle of town and very pretty and photo-worthy, but it is also a main thoroughfare. So while looking out onto the sea and admiring the boats and yachts is brilliant the road can get busy. Shops, bars and restaurants are easy to find and its definitely worth stopping to chill and enjoy the view. We had a roti and rum punch at The Nutmeg restaurant - an old favourite - before going out on a catamaran.
