Absolutely worth a detour. The viking carvings with many wonderful details are on a large flat stone, hidden in the woods. Look for the explanation sign. You can park nearby and walk in the woods.

Welcome to a unique experience! We have one of Europe's finest private car collections, with more than 60 veteran and classical cars from the beginning of the cars history until the 1970's. Our technical museum with Europes' largest collection of jukeboxes is a mesmerizing journey from the first barrel organs throughout the golden era of the jukeboxes. We also have our carriage museum with some fifty gigs, carriages and sleighs from the late 1700s until the 1940s! On Saturdays, you can enjoy homemade pastries outside the beautiful castle, and go for a guiding in the museum. Later on, you might go for a stroll in the beautiful oak forest, and walk by the water's edge. At dinnertime, you get served a three-course dinner in the noble dining room. On Sunday, we have a generous breakfast buffet, another tour and more pastries. What's included: One night in a shared double room. All meals, except you choice of beverages. Guided tours at three museums.

A church which definitely scores as a grand monument. Lovely interiors. They even have a child role-play area. The family loved it!

We visited this Museum twice during our stay in Nyköping; once with young granddaughters & also as a couple. We were delighted that there was so much information in English. The reception staff were very knowledgeable & friendly. The history of this fascinating building is very interesting. The 3 granddaughters, aged 7, 5 & 3 loved the "Find the Rats" trail! They also enjoyed the slightly scarey darkness & coloured lighting in some of the rooms. A very good half day experience.
