Very attractive location by the river. Monastery is very old and well maintained. Friars are very helpful and kind. You can also visit the library to see some codecs from 1418 and many more. You have to try special schnapps made by Franciscan friars in Novo mesto called Franciskove kapljice – Drops of St. Francis. Very tasty and healthy. If you want to visit you have to call one day before to reserve the hour for visit. It is worth of your time for visit. You won’t regret.
