U.S. highway that crosses through Nevada and is called "The Loneliest Highway."
I've been on US50 from where it splits off from 6 at Ely, NV to Pueblo, CO, east & west...best part's between Montrose and Salida, CO...winding through the Rockies, along the Gunnison River...God Amighty, what a road.

Every September at Stead Air Field are the National Championship Air Races. It is a MUST DO event, at least once in a lifetime. Aircraft racing one another right in front of you. Six different classes of airplanes. Four race courses. The airplanes are never out of your field of vision. Jets and Unlimited aircraft roar by at 400+ MPH! Great static displays to walk around. Go into the pits to see the racing planes and talk with the pilots.

The Tower is a unique, iconic fixture in the Vegas skyline with a magnificent 360 degree view of the shimmering Las Vegas Strip and Valley.
this is the first time I went up to the observation deck and it was amazing .. BEST PLACE for sunset for sure!!! and if you are a thrill seeker, you can bungy off the side or ride the slider that takes you off the side of the top of the Stratosphere -just plain crazy to watch but alot of people did it- you ride up the elevator at 21 miles and hour - a must see

Aliens are given their own highway in Rachel, Nevada, one of the most "visited" UFO sites in the country.
A great day trip from Las Vegas, and lots to explore. Now that Rachel has an open gas station and general store made the trip much more enjoyable to explore around the Area 51 Base and nearby petrographs.

Busy Laughlin waterfront area with many activities and scenic riverwalk.
Old casino smell, not sure why all the casinos in this area do not have enough quarter machines. Impossible to flag a waitress for a drink. Not enough adequate signage where to locate atm, money machines or restrooms.

River walkway that affords views of the river and Reno.
The riverwalk runs along the north side of the river with some meandering where foot and mixed bridges cross to the island home of Wingfield Park. It is especially attractive in autumn late in the afternoon when the fall foliage and sunsets flame the glassy stretches of the river. Brief plaques provide fun historical context. Some of the Riverwalk is simply a broad sidewalk bordered by the river on one side and restaurants and shops on the other, but other segments run through parks and, indeed one end is at Idlewild Park, where those enchanted by their ramble can continue near the river. It is a remarkable blend of urban amenities (shops & restaurants) and a wild-land feel with waterfowl and human frolicking in the water in the summer. . In how many urban rivers can you watch folks trout fishing for their breakfast? Parking is available nearby. Homeless people do hang out and sleep rough in some places here, but the context is peaceful and tolerant, with "Reno Ambassadors" being a positive calming and inclusive presence.

Top-secret military base and sight of alleged UFO sightings.
Bucket list tick off Eerie, massive feeling of being watched miles out, even when joining the Extraterrestrial Highway... highlight of the holiday

The Las Vegas Strip is simply amazing to see. My first time in Vegas Amazing people watching Amazing photography Amazing shopping Amazing Restaurants/Food Amazing Casinos (Many of course) Amazing Shows/Entertainment Bring comfortable running shoes as the strip is massif. You could not possibly walk the entire strip and see everything in one day. Don't forget to check out one of the most amazing and only free things on the strip The Bellagio Fountains Show The Strip is divided up into 3 sections South, Central and North Yes the strip is that large. Bring lots of money or credit as everything is very expensive on Las Vegas Strip. We will be coming back to Las Vegas Strip many more times and would recommend to anyone to see the Las Vegas Strip at least once in their life as there is nowhere else in the world like this. You don't need to be a gambler to visit Las Vegas as there is so much to see and do however if you do gamble you will be in heaven.

The tower and restaurant sit atop the Paris Las Vegas hotel.
Great view of the strip Recommend going at sunset as you can also watch the fountains of Bellagio. Friendly staff Downside was the wait before going up due to picture taking....realize this is a money maker but could have two photographers working to make it faster

These 200-foot-tall fountains at the Bellagio Hotel are choreographed to music for performances.
