This is a wonderful "village" to view and walk around in. Old village that as it was over a hundred years ago. You'll see beautiful adobe buildings, art galleries, great bars and a lovely museum.

This is a wonderful university in a small town of about 100,000 people. Great, caring and hard working teachers, and a lovely campus.

We really enjoyed our drive and town visit on a Sunday morning. The drive was very relaxing and the town history was very interesting. We did the self-guided hike all the way around per the guide. Doesn't take long and as stated, is interesting. For those that wrote reviews about difficulty finding the place or hours they're open, it was all right on the main BLM site (the site listed as "website" on this Trip Advisor page) for the townsite. Directions were spot on. The cemetery is across the street and could easily be missed. Tip: We stopped at Sparky's in Hatch on our way back for the best Green Chile Cheeseburger ever.

I hope everyone in Las Cruces has traveled around and looked at all the wonderful works of art that surrounds our outdoors here in Las Cruces NM. How fortunate are we to have the artists that share their talents with us all. It makes our City so beautful and a FUN place to live and show our visitors around. Thank you to all our artists!!!

Gorgeous and historic church. I'm a lifelong Catholic and love being able to celebrate Mass in a historic place. There's an old bat in a mantilla that thinks she owns the place but if you ignore her delusions of ownership then it's a great place.

If you are in Las Cruces, the Mesilla Plaza is worth a stop. You can find a delicious meal here, learn a bit of Southwestern history and find some well priced souvenirs. A lovely place to take a stroll.

We went on a Saturday morning and absolutely enjoyed every single second of it. Local artist selling their products at and incredible price and fresh farm veggies and organic meat and great prices. We were there for hours, sat down enjoyed a good cup of coffee and a pastry and then continued on. Some of the nicest jewely and very reasonable prices I have found.
