St. Peter in Chains Cathedral

Reviewed By phvi2617 - Anaheim, United States

This is a very unique and historic Greek Revival cathedral. The stations of the cross are painted in the style of ancient Greek vases and there is lots of exquisite marble and dark wood throughout. The sanctuary mosaic is very striking and one of the largest in the country. Definitely take a few minutes to visit this beautiful church when in downtown Cincinnati.

Mount Adams

A small hill east of downtown Cincinnati that gives visitors a sweeping view of the city.

Ate at Mt. Adams bar and grill - great neighborhood eatery. Ordered the black bean burger and Caesar salad with marinated chicken - both classics prepared with care. Sat in the back where the noise level is very low, casual seating, beautiful views, and excellent service. This is one of those comfort places where you feel like kicking off your shoes and lingering over a second cup of coffee or tea. Like home.

Great American Ball Park

This new home for the Cincinnati Reds, the oldest major league baseball team in the U.S., balances its spiffy new look with nostalgic tributes to the team's history including reminders of Crosley Field, where it all began.

Reviewed By London_Lad61

My girlfriend and I attended one of the games at the end of the season, against the NY Mets. It was our first trip to the ball park during our time in Cincy. The setting of the stadium is perfect as you have backdrops of the skyline of downtown Cincinnati on one side, and the Ohio river on the other. The food and drink on offer was good, some good local brews and food, and the price was in line with a lot of the other sporting arenas around the country. The staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Neither of us are Reds (or Mets) fans but we certainly enjoyed a good day at a very nice ballpark!
