Loved all of the traffic lights in Akureyri! Where else do you wish for a red light? We were told they were added in Iceland's economic downturn 2008 -2011 as a small way to cheer the citizens of Alkureyri. They sure made me smile!

Take a picture on the stairs leading to lovely church on the hill. The church is the main thing in Akureyri, well visible almost from every part of the city. Definitely worth to see!
