our kids(8 and 5) loved the stop. Milked a pretend cow, saw the robot milking machine the poop zamboni, they thought was funny. We were there in time for milking a few cows and pet a goat, donkey, pig, goats, sheep and turkey. They learned and loved it....plus finished the visit off with a tasty cinnamon bun! worth the stop right close to highway 1 and worth a stop in

The Abbotsford Sikh Temple (Gur Sikh Gurdwara) is a Canadian National Historic Site and the oldest standing gurdwara in Canada. This hundred year old religious institution of the Sikhs was built by struggling pioneers starting in 1908, and is a testament to the pride, vision and steadfastness of a pioneer community at the turn of the last century. Today the grand old temple is restored to its former glory by the governing body of the temple, The Khalsa Diwan Society of Abbotsford, BC.Tours are arranged for visitors by calling ahead.
Must visit to learn history of Sikhs community in canada. There are old pictures, heritage sikh temple building and literature to read.

Clayburn Village is a step back in time. Wonderful General Store where you can enjoy tea, ice cream or browse the international selection of "penny candy." Would be nice if it was open Sunday.

We are a family-run, year-round farm market, we specialize in locally grown, farm to table products. We carefully select the best BC gourmet foods and feature farm-fresh vegetables and fruits from our Okanagan orchard and local growers. We also feature our own premium Black Angus beef, raised on a large ranch in Cache Creek, as well as pork and poultry raised on our family farm in Abbotsford.
I buy Lepp Farm Market products at my local Fresh St Market and when we found the actual Lepp Farm I was so excited. I love the meat products that they produce! The farm has a butcher shop, a vegetable market and a small cafe. It is also filled with kitchen accessories. If you decide that you would like to cook something but you don't have the required kitchen equipment, Lepp has it. The atmosphere fills all your senses and it is an exciting place to have discovered.

We are a fun adventure for the entire family. Our ponds are stocked with fresh, healthy trout, and you only pay for what you catch. There is no charge for bait, poles or admission, and you do not need a fishing license.
My five year old son loves this place, they are always fair and accommodating- he had his 2nd birthday here, nice family farm for fish.

Over 20 years ago, the Taves started the Applebarn Pumpkin Farm in Abbotsford, BC, with the dream of providing a farm-fun experience centered around the gifts of fall. Every year, we open our doors to our communities who can't wait to pick local apples (U Pick Apples with 8 varieties including Jonagold and Honeycrisp, explore the the best pumpkin patch ever, navigate the Corn Quest Maze, ride the tire swings, bounce on the jumping pillow, pet the barn animals, bump around on a hayride, ride a pony and so much more. From our family to yours, we invite you to experience A Taste of the Country.
There is a reason that droves of people come from Richmond and Vancouver to Abbotsfords Apple Barn. There is so much to do there. It's fun for all ages. Bring your camera and do a mini photoshoot. The food is amazing. Roasted corn, apple cider slushies, mini doughnuts, dried apple chips, pies and apple cider to take home are my families favorites. Dont forget your pumpkin and freshly picked (or u pick ) apples. My favorite is the Jonagolds but my family loves ten Honeycrisp apples the best .
