Myself, I am not a great fan of shopping centres, but Sello is a very good one. Right next to the Leppävaara train station and a bus hub, it easily accessible by oubluc transport. They also have a large underground parking lot, which I recall is free, at least for a certain time. Plenty of restaurants, lots of different shops, three large markets and a cinema. Easy to go to, and has pretty much all you need.

From the numerous shops, you can be sure you will find whatever you lack from this hyper shopping area. Also, if you want to be entertained a bit longer, go to the adjoining Flamingo activity center for spa, glow golf, virtual gameroom or restaurants.

Founded in 1862, Stockmann is the largest department store in Scandinavia. Here you can find everything you need, for example delicious food, latest fashion, design and souvenirs. The flagship of the department store chain, located in the heart of Helsinki, offers more than 50,000 square meters of shopping space across ten floors. Stockmann is famous for its wide selection of products and excellent customer service. Besides the flagship store, you can feel the Stockmann spirit at five other Stockmann department stores in Finland: Tapiola, Itis and Jumbo in the metropolitan region, as well as in two other cities, Tampere and Turku.
Visiting Stockmann, the largest department store in the Nordic countries, is a must on your visit to Helsinki. This is huge place with 10 floors. The selection is varied from luxury brands to everyday grocery. You could have a nice break at Fazer 8th Floor. SEE photos. SEE my review of Fazer 8th Floor

This is a giant mall with two sections! You have to walk through the connecting bridge to get to the main mall. There are so many shops, both American brands and Scandinavian. There are also tax free options for tourists, and you can get your refund downtown at the Stockmann. There are also many restaurant options.

This shopping center can be easily reached from Helsinki city center by metro. There are over 120 stores, tens of restaurants and cafes and other services. A new restaurant area and a 9-screen multiplex IMAX cinema Finnkino Itis were opened in autumn 2018. It was our first visit here and for the IMAX cinema. It was a stunning experience, probably the best cinema in Finland.
