A visit to the Alamo is an absolute must, as is taking in a show at the ornate Majestic Theatre. The shops at Rivercenter might have the best location of any mall in the country, bordering the Riverwalk, Alamo, convention center, and much of the walkable downtown area. Macy's anchors along with IMAX,AMC, a 1000 room Marriott, most of the major mall tenants as well as a few independents. Restaurants are many ranging from food court style up to Margaretville, Fogo and Morton's. Their location got it the 5.
