There's fun for all the family here at Metrocentre! With over 50 places to eat, the only Odeon IMAX cinema in the region and a Namco Funscape family entertainment complex, complete with ten-pin bowling and dodgems, you can guarantee at a great day in at Metrocentre
Came for 2 days shopping and as always lots of shops to choose from, parking is free to use and plenty of spaces to go around, the staff we spoke to were polite, and the centre was nice and clean even though it was busy.

Eldon Square is your city centre spot to discover new looks, delicious treats and fresh inspiration. We’ve got hundreds of brands in the heart of Newcastle, ready and waiting for you to get stuck in and enjoy. Whether you’re popping in, meeting for a bite and a browse or on a shop-‘til-you-drop mission, we can’t wait to see you.
This was just after masks were introduced and it was working quite well social distancing was good and we had a great experience, after we went shopping we went for a meal in one of the many restaurants and we had a great meal. The staff were helpful at the customer help desk and the facilities like the toilets were very modern and clean. we came as a family and we were fully satisfy we all highly recommend it

Dalton Park is an outlet shopping centre with additional leisure facilities located in County Durham just off the A19. There are over 60 outlet shops to visit such as M&S, Next, Adidas and Gap which all offer up to 50% off high street prices. With plenty of cosy coffee shops dotted through the mall and a carvery pub too there are lots of options for a break from your shopping. There is also a 7 screen cinema where you can catch the latest films and 55 acres of parkland to explore. Facilities at Dalton Park include a free children's playarea, 1500 free parking spaces, electric car charging, shopmobility, "This is Durham" visitor information point and platinum graded customer toilets. The centre is open air with partially covered walkways and all on one level.
First impression on our visit was every visitor was wearing a face mask and adhering to the one way system which was clearly marked. Really enjoyable shopping trip managed to buy everything and more that we set out for.

Visited Amble last week and again visited the Pods ...we bought handbags and purses ...then we purchased Christmas cards and birthday cards from another....we went mid week to miss the big Sunday market where it would have been difficult to socially distance ..

High street shopping under one roof with big brand names including Debenhams, Next, Topshop, Superdry, Pandora, Swarovski, Schuh, Lush & Primark.
Debenhams, Boots, Disney etc. Yes it gets the chavs but so does the Metro Centre and Eldon Square but as the Bridges is on one level and relatively small prob more noticeable. Plenty of parking and decent choice of shops - always very clean.
