The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

One New Change is London’s newest shopping destination, complete with cafés and restaurants from renowned chefs and flagship menswear and womenswear fashion brands, all set overlooking London’s most famous landmark, St. Paul’s Cathedral. The shopping centre also boasts a unique roof-top terrace with incredible views of London.
We came here to see the view from the rooftop. It was beautiful and gave us an amazing glimpse of St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Unlike its Stratford branch, the original Westfield has a special wing, The Village, devoted to 30+ luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Prada, plus the usual mall staples, restaurants, and a cinema.

The Galleria is a great example of preserving the old warehouses that ran along this part of the river and giving it a new modern identity with a new covered public space - which mirrors the old dock - at its heart. It is always enjoyable to walk through the Galleria between the river and London Bridge station and, at the north end, it provides great views of the river and HMS Belfast. The Galleria has been asleep for the past few months, but you can see that preparations are being made for its awakening.

Lower Marsh Market One of London's oldest and best-loved market streets, featuring some of the capital's most fascinating independent shops and restaurants. The Market is open 10.00am-5.00pm, Monday to Saturday, during the Week it Host a diverse range of Street Food to suit all tastes, from Italian Classics to Sushi Sandwiches there is always a new cuisine to try. A warming lunch on a winter's day or something to kick-start that new healthy diet. Along side daily Street Food stalls and vans we have regular produce stalls and a variety of guest stalls. The Saturday Flea Market includes a changing selection of Bric-a-brac and handmade goods. On the third Saturday of each month Waterloo Classic car show joins us bringing a vintage vibe to the street.
Very good street market spread out along Lower Marsh from Westminster Road, below Waterloo Station. Runs most days, but there is a wider range of stalls later on in the week. (If it rains there may be fewer stalls, but then there are the numerous coffee and tea shops.) Stalls start serving from about 11. You can eat the world... Thai, Chinese, Indian, Senegalese, Polish, burgers, vegetarian... just the smell wafting down the street is wonderful. Light bites can be got for a couple of quid with most main courses being £5-7. This is better value than the more famous Borough Market at London Bridge and personally, I think the choice, variety and value for money is much better on Lower Marsh. Stalls start to close around 2ish and are generally gone by 3. There are other stalls - clothes, t-shirts, recently a record store selling vinyl but this various day to day. There are benches that are put out where you can eat and there is a park at the top end of the Street, (Old Vic/Cut end) but sometimes that's where the local drug addicts gather.

Although it can sometimes feel like the busy train station on Earth, there are some rockstar staff members who make the experience one to remember. A huge shout out to Daniel at the Westfield Shepherds Bush branch who is just one of the nicest human beings on the planet and made the experience of purchasing an iWatch one in a million. It’s nice to be nice.
