Bandar Seri Begawan is a city of two terrains: the stilted water villages that make up some of the city's historic aquatic districts stretch out into the sea, while drier districts spread out over the flatter areas of land. The beaches around the area offer vibrant undersea life, drawing scuba enthusiasts and snorkelers from around the world. Above ground the gold-domed Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque dazzles with its intricate marble design and museums provide ample cultural stimulation.

Vibrant. Delicious. Exciting. Inspired. We invite you to explore the many sides of The Box Brunei. Brunei's biggest container complex recently opened in Telanai Avenue.

There are two building but only checked out the nearest one to downtown, a bunch of shops on the ground & first floor. Jollibee & KFC on the main level with a food court on the 1st floor. Also nice store with Brunei souvenirs. Note, in the city, on Friday, from 12-2 pm, almost everything shuts down & some places may stay closed for the rest of the afternoon. Our biggest find was a laundry service in the basement called CLEANWASHLAUNDRY, a drop-off overnight laundry service, ~ $5 for <3kg. We used the service & worked wonderfully, dropped clothes off one night & picked up the next after 4 pm. Clothes all came back, nicely cleaned. I'd recommend this service as the only one we could find downtown & about 20 minute walk from The Radisson. We were very happy with this mall, got some souvenirs, had supper there, got our clothes washed & visited the mosque next door after dark with the night lights.
