This store sells custom stamps, like traditional Japanese hanko stamps that have your family name, however with fun characters and designs. You pick out the text (name), color, font, and art style, and in about <30 minutes you can come back and it will be ready for you to pick up. There are plenty of small snack stalls and other curiosity stores nearby, so no problem killing time here. When I went, the girl working had good English ability, so there were no problems communicating what I wanted as a tourist. I paid about $50 USD for a large sized stamp, which is a bit pricey, but smaller stamps were cheaper ~$35 USD. I think this is a really cool and interesting souvenir that has a functional purpose and can be used for entertainment long after your purchase. Highly recommend you search for more in depth reviews on this store if it sounds interesting to you. Before you go, you may want to look through all their designs online, since the store itself is pretty small and it may be hard to find the design you like while others are looking. The designs cover the shop walls and they have a notebook filled with pictures of them as well.
