The Gallery was established in 1985 by Chris Insoll. The New Gallery is an artists run showroom and studios and is the home of the Portscatho Art Society. There is a large show room down stairs and above is a studio flat where artists can either paint, socialise or even stay the night. You may even get to meet and see the artists in action.

Tregony Gallery is an artist-run gallery with an impressive roster of distinguished British and international contemporary artists. Based in the ancient village of Tregony, Cornwall, the gallery enjoys a fine reputation as both an established local landmark and a vibrant online space. Gallery owners Brian and Judi Green seek to celebrate distinctive observational painting and artists who possess something different in the way they see and interpret the world. Maintaining a close bridge between Cornwall and London, Brian and Judi share their vision of curating and collecting art through an exciting programme of on-site exhibitions, catalogues and featured works on their popular Instagram account. All the work is available to discover, choose and purchase in the gallery, online, via Instagram and the website. The gallery offers a bespoke service to individuals including art consultancy, curating, framing and shipping.
I’ve been following this wonderful gallery after seeing it on Facebook last year and I’m impressed by the quality and range of Artists they represent and how they show the artwork. Yesterday I received a fabulous self-portrait by the late artist Jason Bowyer, beautifully and securely packaged, after only 48 hours of purchasing. All at a distance of 323 miles. I was able to confidently order my first ever online piece of Fine Art due to the exceptional quality of the images on, and the layout of, their website. The entire experience was first class from start to finish and I would highly recommend the personal service of Brian and Judi online. I am making a visit to this gallery a high priority this coming summer.

I ended up in Truro during my trip to cornwall rather by accident when i took a ride on the wrong bus! but i'm very pleased i did XD. When i got to truro as the next bus wasn't for a little while i decided to make the most and have a look around as Truro seemed like a nice little town. Right up the top of the town past your usual chain stores i found happy piranha and its right up my street! The staff was very helpful with giving me some directions for my activities planned the following day, but best of all was all the cool stuff they had inside. I purchased a couple of boardgames to take back home as presents and got a few candles for my friends back home who are really into harry potter. Will definitely plan an actual trip to truro next time i am in the UK when i visit with friends in the summer now i know this place is here!

The white and green striped stalls of Truro Farmers Market are at the grassroots of Cornwall’s culinary scene; come and discover the best produce our county has to offer! Soak up the smells of freshly baked bread and smoked fish, rows of perfect blue duck eggs, preserves in a rainbow of colours and cakes to make your mouth water. A friendly welcome is guaranteed from the traders, some of whom are truly artisan in scale and others who are courted for their produce by the famous chefs of Cornwall and beyond. As well as the weekly markets on a Wednesday and Saturday, Truro Farmers Market also ‘pops up’ in Falmouth on the pedestrianised area known as The Moor every Tuesday.
Great range of local products and always such a friendly buzz around the market. Always toping up my Gin collection from Elemental Cornish Gin and kimchi from Delea Fermented Foods! The range of fresh food is always a challenge to choose between.
