Southwest Finland, also known as Finland Proper (Finnish: Varsinais-Suomi, Swedish: Egentliga Finland) is a region in the south-west of Finland. It borders the regions of Satakunta and Tavastia Proper. The region’s capital and most populous city is Turku.

Muurlan lasitehdas (glassfactory) is located By one of the busiest motorways in Finland. The glass factory has a shop and a cafe-restaurant & bakery. Muurla is a well-known brand in Finland with over 1000 resellers nationwide. The factory outlet sells mainly Muurla products, but also a wide range of other home decor and gift items. It has been granted the Design from Finland mark.

Gallery A is a contemporary art gallery run by the Turku Artists' Association. The gallery is located in Kaskenmaki in the centre of Turku. Exhibitions change on a monthly basis and showcase different forms of art, ranging from paintings to photography and video installations.
