A charming fishing village, Sayulita is a hidden gem with picturesque beaches, charming restaurants and great food. Unlike some other Mexican towns, tourists mingle with locals in a relaxed atmosphere, without the hustle and bustle of major touristy resorts. For those seeking more nightlife, Puerto Vallarta is a mere 30 minutes away.

Absolutely loved renting boards with these guys. I was worried traveling down to Sayulita/Punta Mita without bringing boards that I might be stuck renting some older, lesser boards, but I was immediately relieved to step in to Quiverito and see all the great boards they had to offer. So many sick options, tons of quality logs, midlenth options and rode a couple of the most fun twin fin boards I've ever been on. Tons of beautiful boards and loved that they had so many retro/alternative shapes on top of the more higher performance options. Cannot recommend renting with these guys enough. Tons of local knowledge of different spots as well. Always knew where to go based on swell and tide and always had the perfect board for the scenario thanks to these guys. Omar helped me out a ton, super awesome dude!!

Mercado del Pueblo is the only Farmer's Market in Nayarit and the first in the Bahia de Banderas. We feature local, organic and natural consumable goods from the region. Recently, local artisans were also added. Every Friday, during the growing season from November-April,come enjoy the products of the area from vegetables and fruits to medicinal products and prepared artisan foods and handmade jewelry. Live music every Friday and street performers make it fun for all! All proceeds from the market go directly to support local projects like water and river clean up, providing biodegradable and natural cleaning supplies to the town and supporting our local children's parks and schools.
Love the Friday market in Sayulita. The food options are excellent; fresh organic produce; lots of great baking; nuts; candy; cheese; amazing local crafts people; and some entertainment.

Made a short trip into Sayulita from Punta Mita. Came specifically to purchase knitting needles cause I broke mine. They did not have needles. Instead I’m going home with a beautiful ceramic skull and adorable Pom poms for our home. The ceramics and textiles are gorgeous. The staff are lovely as well. Wish I could have attended a Pom Pom workshop.
