Artize is a contemporary art gallery located in the popular Backstreet Art District of Palm Springs and host to an official Art-o-mat machine. We showcase original art work by local and not-so-local artists in a variety of genres & mediums. We welcome all - whether you are "just looking" or an avid collector. Please join us year-round for our monthly First Wednesday Art Walk from 5 to 8 pm.
Artize is a great gallery in the Backstreet Art district, which itself is a cool little collection of galleries and studios. Artize has a warm, welcoming vibe (calling you out, Kelly!) and is full of interesting works. Together with the other galleries, and then perhaps a meander through the nearby Estate Sale store, you have a lovely way to spend an hour or two (or maybe more if something catches your eye, like it did for us).

What began in 2006 as a way to earn money for a student trip to Italy has grown into a thriving business. Brandini Toffee is more than the creator of the world's most delicious almond toffee. We're a family-owned company, handcrafting simple ingredients into sweet indulgences that make people say Mmm... Our Palm Springs store was ranked as the #1 Candy Store store in California by Business Insider, Top 50 Ice Cream stores in the country.
First of all, there is usually someone outside the store giving samples of the toffee and toffee popcorn...Once you taste it you can't keep walking, you must go in and buy some...it is so delicious and it makes a wonderful gift!!

Wabi Sabi Japan Living is a retail store specializing in Japanese Home Goods and products for Home Entertaining. Partners Darrell and Osamu visit Japan each year, and their wide selection of offerings—including Tableware, Cookware, Japanese Knives, Sake, Kanji Wear Clothing, and Coffee & Tea Accessories—is personally curated and specially chosen to satisfy functional needs and modern tastes.
I have visited Wabi Sabi many times and I am always impressed with the changing inventory. I have purchased gifts such as the lucky red herring bowl and other ceramics. Personal favorites include the crunchy garlic (sometimes available for sampling) and the wide variety cold sake. Both Darrell and Osamu are very knowledgeable about sake and make the tasting experience educational, fun and delicious!

Love this place in the middle of downtown Palm Springs. Great restaurants and unique shops. My favorite is Bungalow 17, a specialty shop with locally made decor, home items and gifts.
