We called in to this Calico Cottage Heritage Complex while travelling to Roma. The Complex is located at a small place called Wallumbilla. It was meaningless to us until we had a look at what was there and we were really pleased. There is a building housing a vintage car and a horse drawn carriage. Also there is a shop with all sorts of souvenirs and attractions and home made biscuits and cakes also for sale. The place is manned by volunteers and the lady who was in attendance on the Sunday when we went through, was absolutely delightful. She filled us in on history and information and we had a really nice chat. I would definitely recommend this stop, just for a rest even, on the drive to Roma.

Very friendly helpful lady on arrival. Art gallery had an excellent display of its current display of quilts and felt works - so vibrant. Murals and other sculptures in town showed a real pride in this little town.
