The Hawaiian island of Oahu is a surfer’s paradise, with swelling waves that can reach epic heights. No wonder, then, that it’s the site of one of the world’s premier competitions, the Triple Crown of Surfing. If hanging ten isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy the beautiful beaches – particularly famous Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. Art connoisseurs will appreciate the annual Hale'iwa Arts Festival, a celebration of local crafts, painting, jewelry, sculpture, dance, and music.

TikiMaster.com, a division of Kamakani Enterprises, Inc. is owned and managed by Jerome Coudrier. TikiMaster.com is an on-line retail and wholesale company that specializes in Hawaiian art, including tikis from all of the Polynesian Islands. Jerome is originally from Paris, France, but moved to Kailua, Oahu, 18 years ago to fulfill his passion for water sports. During these 25 years, Jerome cultivated his love for tikis by hunting garage sales, flea markets, outer islands, and even the South Seas to create a one of a kind collection of everything tiki. To support his tiki addiction (and his family), Jerome worked for several hi-tech computer companies, including Cybercom and Communications Pacific before starting TikiMaster.com. Specialties: Over the past six years TikiMaster.com has become the flagship website that now shares Kamakani Enterprises with about 20 other sites. Jerome has successfully grown his one man business from a small room in a rental home to a 15,000 square foot

Like the more famous Saturday market at Diamond Head, this market features amazing foods and the nicest people -- very full of aloha!
A moderate sized farmers market on Sunday mornings with decent selection of produce, prepared foods, coffee, flowers, skin care and women’s clothing. There’s plenty of parking when we got there at 9am. Had breakfast at the crepe place - island special for $9 with bacon, avocado, tomatoes, pesto sauce. Many of the vendors also make the rounds at Kakaako (Saturday morning) and Blaisdell (Wednesday evening). The market is in walking vicinity of Whole Foods, Longs and other local shops and restaurants. Worthwhile to check it out while you’re there.

Super close and has everything you need for your stay at north shore. Poke was fantastic and the fresh catch section is perfect for grilling on the beach.

We always purchase some artwork to remember our journey and we were thrilled when we found this art gallery. One of our requirements is that it is locally made. We loved the variety of artwork on display and settled on a beautiful piece of glass work made by Krista Woodward. We felt the prices were quite respectable and our piece was well packaged and shipped very quickly. Even if you don't plan on buying, you should at least give this place a visit.

They have great artwork by local Hawai’ian artists. Fair prices. A hidden gem. They have original paintings and high quality prints, pottery and other unique pieces. I could have spent all afternoon there.
