August 1, 2021 Malia Yoakum

Conquering New York in one visit is impossible. Instead, hit the must-sees – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art – and then explore off the beaten path with visits to The Cloisters or one of the city’s libraries. Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

Me and my was at the Soho in NY. My daughter was looking for nice boots, so when we saw the store we entered in and my daughter tried some of the boots. The sales man and the owner of the store was very nice and help full. I very much recommend to go and see the store, and the beautiful boots and huts.

Josefinas is a Portuguese shoe brand born from 3 womens' dream. In a country in crisis, where there was little room for dreams, making handmade shoes had a new name: Josefinas. I love Little Moony. What a creative and interesting store with locally made American clothing, beautiful artisan toys and a nice selection of books. The clothing here is a standout as it is made by the owner's mother and the pieces are hand made and have the most original prints. They have the cutest assortment of jumpers, dresses and shirts. The toys here are very interesting and very interactive. It has a selection of local artists from New York making handmade toys for them. The service here is very friendly and professional and the owner herself likes to wait on her customers. She takes such pride in the store. The window displays are whimsical and interesting.

What a fabulous place to call in to see a selection of great books but you really must stop for a coffee and something to eat. We came across this place whilst waiting for a cruise around the Statue of Liberty, but was so worthwhile. A wonderful, friendly greeting and a ready smile with impeccable, personal service. The large mug of cafe latte was super and quite honestly the cheapest that I had in New York and the almond croissant was divine. Free WiFi too. Don’t walk by NcNally Jackson Books as you will regret it.
