Art Gallery and Showroom featuring hand thrown pottery, sculpture, two dimensional wall art on display and sale. Full featured pottery and painting studios. Workshops and classes.
Mark is the potter and Lynn is the painter (although Lynn also creates lots of clay hand building items). This married duo is very talented and so nice to boot! They offer classes of all kinds, give to the community, help Cancer patients have some fun, and are an asset to Morehead City and the local arts. Their shop offers many beautiful paintings and handmade pottery items. If you want, they’ll even ship your purchases back home if you find something while on vacation!

Michelle Johnson Fairchild was on-site and working in her "magic room" as we enjoyed her vibrant paintings and prints just steps away in the front of her small studio. Michelle's personality matches her paintings, and I found her to be an inspiration. The room seemed to give us energy. She was inviting and hospitable, yet respectful of our space and time. Unlike other galleries, many of her pieces are quite affordable. Don't be fooled by the entrance that doesn't fully face the street and appears to be an office. Go down 8th Street a few steps from Arendell and you'll be there.

Old timey General Store with all time favorite candies, toys and gifts. So much to see with every turn! See us on FB: PARSONS GENERAL STORE-HISTORIC MOREHEAD CITY, NC
We usually make a stop by Parson’s General store when we are in North Carolina. We missed last rear due to Hurricane Florence hitting the area so we were excited to visit this. We were not disappointed. Large selection of souvenirs, signs, old time candies, towels, coasters, etc. We feel like family when we visit. Prices are very reasonable. Nice leisurely shopping.

The selection of vinegars and olive oil are just about endless. The hardest part of your visit is leaving without purchasing one of everything offered. The salesperson was incredible! She offered to put our purchases in the office while we enjoyed the rest of the afternoon walking along the waterfront.
